I didn't care for the sourcing of the crossingbroadstreet story. Very unfair to publish such a story with an unknown source and without confronting the accused. A my word against his type thing should not be used in any type of published journalism.

I actually like it for marketing/branding. And some people use it in useful ways. For example, when Stewart Cink was looking for decent pizza in a particular neighborhood of NYC. Or when Lance Armstrong does a tweet ride (puts out a tweet saying "Meet up at Picadilly Circus at 4 pm tomorrow" and hundreds of cyclists come out and go for a ride with him.

But just like Facebook, or hockeybuzz, there are quite a few people who seem drunk when they post.

The underscore means it's not the real guy. Journalists typically have the blue checkmark that confirms they are who they say they are. Don't bother with the unchecked ones.
