The Ottawa hat trick is almost all I can remember this year, then again, Molson sure is delicious! - puckhead17
How bout the game trying goal in Dallas in the final seconds that secured the Flyers a point?

Not sure if you are being serious, but there are far bigger issues. Briere is one of the least things to be concerned about. |

He hasn't had a great year by any means, but I'm not worried about him. Look at what he does during the playoffs. I rather him scoring big goals in April and May then December and January. |

Right, that was the debate earlier, if we miss the playoffs, does he still get paid, the dude is a playoff beast, like a point per game career wise |

The fans that boo when there is a shutout, do not exist here.
At the same time, I am a fan of the logo. What the team stands for. Thats why I became a fan in the first place, watch any game I can. To be a Flyer. To me means to play hard, physical, lunchpail hockey. A team that stands up for itself and eachother. May not be the most talented, but is hard working. That to me, is what being a Philadelphia Flyer is about.
To admit that I will blast a guy when to me he isn't representing the logo as best he could, I will do it every day. I'm one of the old school.. Tough love.
Im a fan of the logo and what it stands for first and foremost. How the players represent it, determines what I think of them. - flyer_nutter
oh please people discounted a Bryz shutout cause he only had to make 17-18 saves. |

Barring an epic collapse, the Flyers aren't going to miss the playoffs. They are 7 points clear of the # 9 seed, with 3 games in hand. |

I have 2 concerns. Bryzgalov earning his pay check and Briere earning his. Byrz has felt the heat but somehow breire has gotten a free pass. there are 6 forwards thta are out performing him in my opinion, and the media seems content with not pointing this out.
i mean come on. the biggest problem on this team is defense and briere doesnt play an ounce of it. if he isnt scoring... then all he is doing is hurting this team defensively. |

Saturday there were only 15 shots through 2 periods, it's weird, is it better to keep the shot count low, or be more like Phoenix & let him face 40-45? |

He has taken some bad penalties again as well, would you take his one way play & no D as oppose to a 40 point 2nd line 2 way center?
The Rangers seem to be excelling with the later
But again he is a playoff beast! |

Honestly I think they booed the fact he couldn't make a save in the shootout. (That has a lot to due with his previous follies in prior shootouts) Doesn't make it right,
but Nabakov stood on his head in that game, and Bryzgalov had a very light workload. That's the way I see it. And I'm not condoning booing him after he posts a shutout. |

It is ridiculous how much hate there is for this team. Playing 6-8 rookies every night. Right in the thick of the playoff race. Its baffling.

I think # 6 seed would work best. Gives them a "lesser" first round opponent and gives them a chance to build some momentum/confidence. |

Rationality doesn't play here. It's easier to be a sheep and boo everyone than to look at exactly what is going on and try to discuss how to change things, in a realistic manner.
Far too much knee jerk reaction and adulation of the "Ohhh Shiny!" *
*hat tip to bo for Ohhh Shiny!
