I liked their first record, but never bought it. Bill Bruford is my 2nd favorite drummer (Neil Peart is #1). - Flyskippy

In truth I don't know where Moore ends and Rudess begins. Jordan Rudess is a pretty damn good keyboardist though, I thought Liquid Tension Experiment was enjoyable. Overall I find DT's music dull and overwrought (it's strange, I like prog rock but can't stand prog metal).
That said, they're wildly talented musicians (this may even be an understatement). I saw them open for Iron Maiden a couple years ago. - BulliesPhan87
I love Dream Theater.
MY buddy Lou got me into them years ago.

Eks new blog says Flyers are in on Bernier. I'm all for going after him. What are your opinions on going for him? - Richieattack18

DT is pretty good. Transatlantic, I like too. I really like Neal Morse (his post-conversion stuff is heady but good). |

I think it's fantastic. Next thing you know we will be trading Bryz and Talbot for Miller and Gaustad. Or something ridiculously close to asinine as possible. |

The Mason-involved Columbus trade proposed this morning was the best so far. Until the proposer was himself a subject of a trade rumor. |

Anyone who is on the trade market the Flyers have interest in. I understand they may be talking to teams but that doesnt mean they want everyone who is available.
Any big trade is going to require moving: JvR, Read, Voracek, Couturier, or Schenn. They just added two defenseman so it wouldnt be wise to send one in a trade to another team unless they get another back. That would make three new defenseman in less than 1-2 weeks.
Cap wise the Flyers dont have alot of space so I just dont get it. |

That's because you are using logic and reason. Remove them and it all suddenly makes sense. |

I could understand looking at Bernier, but very little else. the most desperate GM in the league is Lombardi.... |

Couple demotions and they could have around 1.5 to like 2 I think. Probably keep it for call ups due to injury and such. I mean, aren't we out of 2nd round picks now? Homer's pockets should be cooling off. |

The Flyers are going to have to trade Bob + (Voracek, JvR, Schenn, Couturier) in order to get Bernier (and other pieces). Anyway the Flyers slice it they still have Bryzgalov and need to play him. He hasnt been the top tier goalie we expected but were basing this season like he will never be good again. Im just confused on what were looking for. |
