Isles will have eliminated themselves by the time he's back. They said two weeks originally, I forgot what game it even was.

I see the score, but I am not watching the game, they may come back today. They have certainly been playing better hockey.

3-0 in the 1st, no energy, no intensity, no swagger........
No real coach, no toughness, lack of goals = playoffs

They're not coming back today, I watched the first (have since turned it off) they're flat and making it look like it's a preseason game. No fire, no drive, no sense of urgency. They mailed it in before it even started.

This game will be 9-0 if they don't start competing. I don't see a comeback today.

This is painful to watch thus far. I don't think the isles are even trying. I've never seen so many turnovers in my life.

I didn't realize they were even playing. I figured a beer league team just went shopping at the ugly jersey store and snuck out there.

They just said on the Sens feed that Eaton has asked Islanders to be traded.

Good. Trade him to Columbus for whatever it is they want to give us. Let him enjoy the rest of the season there.

I literally printed out the Isles 3rd jersey schedule before the season and crossed those games off my list of one's to try and attend. I don't care if they're playing the Rangers and it's Free-Ferrari-and-Puppies Night, I'm not paying money to have my eyes bleed for 60 minutes of hockey.

He'll be gone before Friday's game against the Rangers if that's the "real" case. Travis is said to possibly be back for that game anyway. Besides, I'd rather see someone else there anyway. Maybe they can send Eaton and Staios somewhere and get a bag of pucks and a shooting dummy. Oh wait, they already have Rolston.

Maybe we can package all three of them. Some team that wants to not make the playoffs as bad as we do actually might give us something of value.

WTF?!? I mean, really? NO effort? How does this make ANY sense whatsover??

wow! what's with Parenteau??? I don't see many NYI games but is he often like that? All I normally see is his scoring plays and how good he is but it looks like he just lost it today more then once! Did he have some money on this game!?

Normally I'd have an answer to that but I turned the game off before the first period ended, so all I know is what I've seen when I've intermittently checked twitter.

Christ, I leave the game early cause that was just an amazing playoff team to watch, the Sens looked good out there. Then I walk in the door to see I missed 2 goals

I've watched peewee teams play with more intensity and heart

I hope Garth is getting his due diligence done and calling Howson to see what it would take for Nash

Its been like this for most of the year. This has to be the least entertaining Islander team I've had the displeasure to watch in a very long time. Regardless of record. So soft, so unmotivated and so lost.

FLASH!!!!!! Capt Jack was pleased with the Isles effort this afternoon. We just didn't get the breaks! Just joking

Yea, Potvin announced it during the 2nd period and again mentioned it during the 3rd period. Said he received a Tweet during the 2nd period from an unnamed NHL official and then he said it was later confirmed by the Fox sports network. I guess we'll see. No loss. I'm barely aware of him during most games anyway.
