That does nothing to his trade value. There is no proof of it. Can't use poop like that to lower trade value. He is still a top 4 D man. He is more valuable than Hemsky. Bernier is around the same value as Gagner, probably more.

It isn't like LA actually wants to move Johnson. If they were shopping him then it is a way for teams to get leverage but in a trade like this I don't see it being a factor. Bernier is unproven obviously but that doesn't make him less valuable than Gagner. He is projected to be a starter and is still developing.
