Schneids has a lot of value but so does Schenn. Guy is a 5th overall pick and only 22. Grabo is a solid player and would be awesome with our style of play. Gus is a very solid backup and someone that would benefit from playing behind a much stronger team.

Its a lot I know but thats about what its going to take to get Schnieder. I think the leafs are going to realize if they haven't already that they need a goalie.

Schneids has a lot of value but so does Schenn. Guy is a 5th overall pick and only 22. Grabo is a solid player and would be awesome with our style of play. Gus is a very solid backup and someone that would benefit from playing behind a much stronger team.

i hear you. it's probably the homer in me, but i think schenn for schneider straight up is pretty fair.. but i'd still rather have schenn (yep, said it).

personally, i think you guys aren't all with it if your trading schneider over luongo anyways.. unless luongo really is unloadable these days.

My concern is that the leafs are pretty close up against the cap for over paying for Armstrong, Connolley, Komi, Phaneuf, Reimer..and ideally we need a #1 goalie, #1 Ctr and some additonal secondary scorring...

Its a lot I know but thats about what its going to take to get Schnieder. I think the leafs are going to realize if they haven't already that they need a goalie.

schnieds has had the benefit of playing on the moose, one of the best AHL franchises, the van behind Lu on one of the best squads in the league, and we all expect him to be the saviour of a questionable team? Do the leafs give up on Reims that easy, one good half season, good start this year, and a sophmore slump hits and. (frank) him he's crap. Here's a new word for my fellow leafs fans.........develop

overpaying for a goalie now isn't going to win the team a cup. be patient with what we have, and grab pieces as they become available for rational prices. these guys would have you believe schneider is worth schenn and our 1st rounder. not likely..
