Nope, not gonna happen at the deadline. If you listen to Burke, he says that he doesn't deal at the deadline because you always overpay. It's not gonna happen, my hipster-doofus friend. Burke needs to stay the course, and concentrate on the goaltending now. - triggermartin
Im sure Healey would strap on the pads again for the Leafs - how many of you Leafs fan actually like the guy? |

Id take McGuire over Healey any day - Healey with his "we's" and "us'es" describing the Leafs as if he is still part of the team drives me mental |

This offseason will be the time to address our needs. Im all for trading Grabovski only IF the right package comes along.
Wouldn't mind seeing Chris Kelly or Pahlsson come as UFA's
We need a checking line that can go up against other teams best players! A #1 goalie would be helpful too.

Time to inject some life into the lineup. If Burke hasn't traded Lombo, Armstrong or Connolly yet, its because he can't. Waivers is where I'd send them. For to many years has this team played guys that don't deserve to play and only because we feel we owe them. Get rid of them for anything, and call up some plug getting paid less then a million and watch him work his ass off for this team. |

Why not wait until the offseason and go get a real #1 for the future? - Sundin113
Schnieder? At the deadline? Nabakov is gonna cost a lot because the nyi think they can catch you guys. I bet a 1st rounder won't get the leafs Nabakov.

i'd prefer a liquored up bob cole over Simpson...
even when the nucks are playing, he's sucking them off. he knows nothing about any team not playing in BC. |

#1 goalie, #1 center and checking line. THats a pretty big list. Not to mention the 1st 2 are probably going to have to be addressed via trade. You guys are still 2 yrs away. |

We need a coach that can create a specific game plan, one that can implement a defensive scheme. It just looks like Wilson just has his players go out and play with no structure, nothing planned. - ThePresident

while I agree Simpson appears to favor Van, its way worse with Cole and his homerism of the leafs. Not to mention he is losing it. Can't keep up to the play. As for Healy man is pathetic |

Armstrong should be a good fit. They r paying him a ton for what he is however. I think Stastny would be a good fit, but its gonna cost you probably 2 young roster players(as in Kulemin/Gunersson/Gardiner/Franson . Not sure that is a good idea. Rask or Schnieder are clearly to great fits but again probably 2 of those 4 and maybe more. Since THomas is so old Rask would be a hard trade to make but Schnieder will be gone by the draft. |

One way to improve is adopting a system in which players by into. A 3rd line that can shut down other teams top players IMO is the one dimension that a winning team has to have! Players with heart, effort and skill are key to a solid defensively sound and good hockey team |

He is there for the anti-leaf fans. He is often against the leafs. He's similar to Howard Berger. I actually like Howard better. |
