Can Bryz go to the minors? If he can, I would send him to the Leafs...
- Flyfreaky

Is it a NTC or a NMC???...NMC means he cant be waived...

Nash doesnt look like a 40 goal scorer to me. His contract makes him one of the most over rated players in the league. Luke Schenn is 22 and is going to get much better. A number one or two D is always going to be more valuable than a FORMER 40 goal centre.
- Jimmy_T

So you wouldn't trade Schenn for Carter?

Bryzgalov isn't a bad goalie, his past success proves that. There is something wrong with his composure right now, It's all in his head, he's having a hard time deal with the contract and a big market I guess.

He's like Vokun ..Great goaltender on a poop team who faces a million shots...

Numbers can be deceiving when the only shots that get through are quality scoring chances........

if we only had a centre and NOT Bozak
- shmenge

I actually like Bozak, but yeah, not as number one. Consider this, Kessel has better stats than Daniel, and Kessel doesnt have a psychic conection with his centre who is also not one of the nhls best players. If Daniel has Henrick, Kessel has no one, and Nash has Carter and is 6'4 , then Kessel by stats, and value to his team, is the best winger in hockey. Consider that Kovy gets more room b/c of Parise. Kessel deserves the HART if the Leafs make the playoffs

I am no rocket scientist but Columbus has had a scout at the last three Flyers games, including their GM and higher execs. There WILL be a Trade between these two teams just a matter of who. Here is my pitch:

PHI- Nash/Sanford
CLB- JVR, BOB and 1st maybe even Gustaffson and yes there really is an Erik Gustaffson

As a Flyer can only wish Bryz would waive his NMC to go there.

Flyers should TOTALLY go for Mason. But since he's such a hot commodity, they're gonna have to go all out for him. Giroux and a 2nd?

I know this horse has been beaten, but Philly and Toronto really need to (frank)ing make a trade. They're great trading partners considering the the amount of forward talent Philly has and the defense talent Toronto has....it's just the god damn details of the trades.
- clarkysduster

why does everyone say T.O. has a lot of defensive talent. Last year Ek said they were the deepest D in the league. They have 3 legit top 4 d-men in Dion, Liles and Franson who was a steal. Schenn has a huge upside but sometimes guys need a change of scenery and he'd thrive in an environment where team defense is important. Vancouver, Detroit, Rangers, Boston, St. Louis, L.A. and New Jersey would be perfect fits for him.

Detroit: Schenn, Grabo and a conditional for Filppula and Brenden Smith

Rangers: Schenn, Grabo and a conditional for Dubinsky and Erixson

Boston: Schenn and Armstrong for Hamill and Caron

St. Louis: Schenn and a 2nd for Stewart and a 3rd

L.A.: Schenn, Kadri and Kulemin for Bernier and Brown.

New Jersey: Schenn for Zajac and a 2nd

Vancouver: Schenn, Franson, MacArthur, Kadri, 2nd for Schneider, Raymond, Ballard, Rome

Not really....Cant blame Philly for trying to fix a problem..(frank)in boatload better than pulling a Oilers trying to lose to get high pick...

Might seem weird but some teams actually aim for the cup and not the draft...

None of those teams need a top 4 d-man except for maybe the Devils. Everyone else just needs a spare d and it'd be a waste to use a young guy with his potential as a 7th d.
