Somebody really needs to absolutely crush Malkin. Cleanly, but I want him hit so hard he doesn't know his own name.

EDIT: Not necessarily a retaliation for the hit on Giroux, I just hate Malkin.

Its amazing to me that the only thing that resulted from that was a few words exchanged.

Wow. Malkin just went around Grossman like he was in cement, and had Bryzgalov beaten short side and rang it off the post.

If that puck is on net it looked like it'd have hit Bryz anyways. Goalie doesn't have to defend the post

A trait that is sorely lacking in this team. Especially now that Sestito and Rinaldo are out.

Amazing to you? That's the Flyers way...just let the other team get away with murder and don't do anything about it ...way its been all season ...this team is so soft

What about Duncan Keith?
- bird_dog

Keith is one of the top 5 dmen in the NHL, I doubt he would be available.

There are times when a team should take a penalty when it comes to defending its own.

You think of that happened to Crosby the pens wouldnt unleash hell on the guy who hit Sid?

The next stoppage of play not one Flyer instigates a thing. Sickening.

Line brawl, no doubt

I'm okay with them just taking numbers and waiting for the right opportunity. I don't need to see them send someone out to fight Engellend after that hit. I'd much rather see them start targeting Malkin or Letang with hard hits every time they touch the puck.

I were any team i would target Giroux shift in and shift out. Try to wear him down. It is up to the Flyers as a team to make the opponent think twice about that strategy.

Right now it doesn't seem like they make them think at all about it.

Shhhh dont use the "soft" word

Overall they are a soft group. When Hartnell, Simmonds, sometimes Talbot and two fourth liners are your teams only real physical threats, there are problems.

He was solid on the PK.

Went to cover the pass on the Cooke goal, like he should have and Bryz let in a weak one.

Got beat cleanly by Malkin but that will come with not having played in the Eastern Conference and not having that familiarization.
