No Hartnell wont be that much $ in 3 years

Giroux & Nash would make the same as Richards & Gaborik

- puckhead17

Okay in 4 years G's contract expires. If he plays near the same level or better between now and then he will be worth at least what Nash is getting. That puts the two of them together at like 15.6. Yea gonna have like 20 mill on your first line.

Bourdon was only a -1 in that mess today. He's 22. I just love how this team (and half it's fanbase) just quit on guys so quickly. News flash.

THE HARDER YOU CHASE AFTER THE CUP WITH PANIC DECISIONS, THE MORE IT WILL ELUDE YOU.

amen brother. this is a bunch of bullpoop. kubina trade and nash rumors. theres nothing wrong with bourdon being a 6.

Easy there big guy, I just don't think he's ready for a full-time NHL gig yet. I have no problem keeping him on the roster as the extra guy. I understand he's young.

Well since the Flyers just won in 1975, that cuts your logic to ribbons.

Grossman + Kubina = No more Ill-Ya Softgoalov

Dreger just said he believes there is an ECHL player involved in deal. The only ECHL player with an NHL contract is Tyler Hostetter who currently is playing with the Phantoms in the AHL.

With Kubina on board, I'm ready to get Voracek off the point on the PP. Not a very accurate shot, and he certainly likes the cross ice pass to Roo and vice versa for my liking.

so instead Jagr is 43 and takes $2 mill a year

Giroux would take less cap hit and longer term, he's that type of guy, he's shown it already

plus, I know Nash's $ is obscene, but that would be an awesome top pairing, starting now, not in 3 years, 3 years for Schenn, 3 years for JVR, 3 years maybe for Voracek.

Jagr won't be in the league then. Y should Giroux take less money than an inferior yet grossly overpaid player? 3 years isn't a long time to wait for all those to mature into elite forwards like G did this year either. Plenty of pieces in the meantime to keep us afloat.

Laviolette was spotted at a Philadelphia coin and stamp store this evening. Reports are he was inquiring about a coin being made. One side Softgoalov, the other side Bobflopsky. He will use this coin to determine the goaltender the remainder of the season.

It's opinion on players, but I'd love to have a top line sniper, not to say that's our problem, it isn't, but I think we have so many forwards now, and plenty of youth, that Giroux could use someone else to utilize his talent, plus imagine our PP, what it would do for that as well.

It's cool.

I'm just pissed that this team keeps throwing draft picks to the wind. But it makes perfect sense actually. Who the (frank) wants to draft somebody, and have the responsibility of watching them develop, when you can just keep getting scrubs like Walker, Lilja, Grossman and Kubina, etc,, etc., infinity, forever.
