All I can say to all this mess and to you guys debating with me on Bryz is this, I gave up on Ritchie and Carter after last year's playoffs and so did management. Right now I know that was just a disgrace today but it happens not just in hockey but in Sports. However I read in Bill's blog a couple week's ago how Bryz is in the wins and how he is in the losses and the fact that the Flyers are in 4th place. They aren't in 4th place (at least I haven't checked standings lately so maybe they fell a spot I unno) because of subpar goaltending. They are in 4th place because as a team, they from the goaltender to even the coaches if you ask me, are inconsistent. W/e the reason they are inconsistent. As they get into the playoffs they are gonna be the either the team that beats the dogsnot out of teams 7-2 or the team that loses 6-4.

Right now I haven't given up on Bryz or this team. Need another move but this team just has to come together goalies, forwards, dmen and coaches. Have a plethora of talent here. Were due for a loss to pittsburgh. Let's face it we weren't gonna win 6 games against pittsburgh int he Reg season this year too.

Good question. No idea of the answer.

A quick look at team stats for TBL shows a very low number of points for their D on special teams. Stamkos has the same number of ppp as their entire D combined.

I don't watch a lot of TBL games. I don't know why that is.

Alot happening .. Stay tuned ...when we left the building today a few things were apparent for the Flyers. One is they will be trading a goalie and making a move for another goalie. The other was the team was about to make BIG deals.

A few days ago the flyers had no intention of trading for kubina. Now they have trade for kubina. This tells me something else bigger is happening. A week ago the Flyers weren't in on Nash. As of this writing the flyers are VERY much in on Nash.

so far, the flyers have given up 2 2nds, 1 3rd, 1 4th for 2 defensemen who the flyers most likely would have to overpay to even resign here. This is one reason why the flyers haven't won the cup. It's one thing to trade for the final pieces of the puzzle every couple of years but they continually forgo drafting in order to "go for it" every year whether it's realistic or not.

I have to think he gets very minimal PP time in TB this year. To have zero points on the PP seems hard to believe.

Gotcha Ek.

I guess when you spend to the cap they dont see it as an issue. Most of the picks traded were from other teams, so they still hold most of their own picks. Who's to say Homer wont deal them next.

I thought for sure it would be suspension. Clear example of boarding a defenseless player from behind.

he should have been given a major and tossed. he then doesn't end up scoring a shortie either.

So what is the deal exactly? I thought we were at the contract max, so I assumed a body went the other way.

At this point who really knows. Nothing would shock me. If Holmgren can trade Richards and Carter within an hour of each other anything goes.

Not a huge fan of handing out picks for rentals with a team that doesn't appear to be close.

League can't approve trade, until Flyers get below the 51 players. That's why everyone thinks Flyers about to make another trade.

Flyers are all in every year, but still some how make the playoffs and lose to the eventual champs quite a bit lately. So they must be doing something right. I have stated for a while they were 3 players away. One scoring winger and 2 dmen. We just got 2/3 so far. A right handed shot we needed. 2 big bodied pretty physical guys. Paired with the right partners and this d can be much much improved. If the goalies play strong, we can make a sweet run

Agreed. Sounds like they are all in........again. Don't see this team making too much noise, but maybe the inexperience on the blue-line was having an effect on team chemistry. And who knows, maybe Pronger comes back

We're on the same page brother.......This whole thing is a cluster F.......clearly we are not near the Rangers/Bruins/Wings, so might as well shake things up, Jagr has been inconsistent, but awesome when on, but if you can get a perennial 30 goal scorer whose 27, gotta kick the tires

Voracek, Gustafsson, Cousins and our first for Nash. Nutty offer I know but it's no more nutty to even gamble with our team for Nash to begin with.
