Kubina makes 3.8M and the Flyers only had 3.6M in space I believe. I guess they could send another player down to make him fit but that cap space is limited at this point.

I guess goalies were killed by players in the locker room, so we are actually at 49 (incl. Kubina)

Defense has been the problem for this team, and adding Grossman and now Kubina will go a long way in fixing that problem. They still need a stud back there, but picking up two reliable veterans for draft picks keeps this team in the hunt.
Kubina is also capable of adding a bit more nasty in front of the goalie than most of our guys.
Not sure if they're done, but I like these moves.

2nd rounders have a 25% chance at becoming regular nhlers, fwiw

Kypreos says a # 2 and a # 5. There has to be another move coming because the Flyers are at 50 contracts.
