Just don't put that awful avatard with that terrible band back up and I will take the insult/joke

- JoeRussomanno

It's not a shot at you Joe. I don't blame people for trying to stay positive, but at this point there is nothing to think Bryzgalov is going to find his game this year. And this is one of his prime years during his contract.

Hello!
Bryz doesn't have mental issues? It is all about taking the lesser of two evils in my mind. Mason 1 yr left 2.9M and younger. Obvious choice IMHO. If I could get rid of Bryz, I hate to say it but I would do it in a heart beat. I have been a supporter all year but it is what it is. A noose around the Flyers necks for 8 yrs.

Edit: Could be a noose. Right now it looks that way. Maybe not next year but this year I am ready to throw in the towl.

- coffee junkie

Can't keep with the goalie carousel. This franchise is already stereotyped in that regard. Upgrade the goalie coach, bring some positive mental health guy in. They gotta deal with it.

Giroux: (talking about the media) When we win, you guys give credit to the players. When we lose, you guys put the blame on the goalies. We're behind our 2 goalies.

Bob really wasn't any better ... both were beyond bad today!
- Cable2k

There are degrees of bad. On the 4rth goal, that was a horrid turnover by KImmo, and Bob stops the first shot, iirc. On the 6th goal, that is a good hard wrister, and again Bob stops the first shot, but leaves a rebound out there and thats a great backhander by a very good goal scorer.

Goalie grades on shots: Bryz: F,F, D
Bob: C,F,B.

Belfour was a real f-ing nutcase. He won a cup. I'll take Mason next year then say good buy. Probably could trade him next year at the TDL
- Deasr1

just wait till the collective barg agreement expires they will hope fully pt that 1 time buyout like the did last time so bryz either turns it around or gets the boot

some one wrote the other day that with the trading of richards and carter that many expected this to be a transition year and he is basicaly right we have played great we have played terrible

i dont think that many of us thought that when we lost both of them that we would have done as well as we have ( i know i didnt)

we need our d-men to step up and we need our goalies to step up the fowards are not completly blame less in this either they need to get back and play defence some times ( not all just some)
i think that this team can pull it out but only if they get thier colective heads out of there colective a$$es

Think the only way to get over this loss is to take shot at everyone, burn this mother (frank)er down, then sing kumbaya while getting hammered. Dunno seems more productive than some of the poop getting thrown around in this mother (frank)er hahahahahaha

Who needs to get over it? I'm trying to blame the entire team for a poor performance, whereas people are trying to only blame the goalie.

Look no further than the score. Bryz gives up 3 soft goals. He gets pulled. Welwood scores the equalizer and the team goes into the locker-room without Bryz in a tied game and the momentum.

How do they respond? They give up 3 un-answered, soft goals. Even though the evidence could NOT be more clear that the team did not come to play a full 60-minute game, people still wanna cry about Bryz as he sits on the bench. If you can't see the hilarity in this situation, then you are choosing not to see it.

- steelydan

Obviously it's a team game, but the 'team' didn't give up 3 stoppable goals in the first 2 periods, Bryz did. (the first 2 were soft, the 3rd was a bit harder but stoppable.)

The team fought back after the first horrible goal and tied the game. Then took the lead. Then Bryz gave up another bad goal. Think that sucks some life out of your team?

The the Cooke goal when the Flyers were on the 5-on-3. That was a bad goal, but absolutely the team gets blame for that goal as they didn't even get a good (any?) shot off with a 2-man advantage and friggin Cooke scored a goal against. Just sad.

And obviously Bob came in a played poorly as well, though the first goal he gave up wasn't as bad as any of the goals Bryz gave up - Bob made the first save, but nobody was there to clear the puck or take the body of the guy sitting in the crease. The 2nd goal was sad, fluky, and the Bob's 3rd (6th overall) shouldn't have happened.

But, the team was deflated before the 3rd period even started. I guess you can blame them for that, but that doesn't change the fact.

Maybe it's nutrition. Bryz just seems sluggish and slow. Especially during the day. I hate 1 o'clock games. just know we are gonna be out played half the time and out ref'd the whole time.

Means nothing. Goalies have always been a breed apart. You rarely see goalies and skaters hanging.

Do you think he's going to come out and say the goalies suck? If you hooked him up to a polygraph machine, it would indicate he has zero confidence in either goalie.

That's reality.

BRYZ was really bad today and you all know how big a supporter I am of him. However so was BOB and the rest of the team. Still Bryz was bad. This was the worst he's been. However he's been pretty solid lately. You guys gotta calm down. Goalies have bad games, years etc. This guy has shown ability and was able to get the shutout monkey off our backs.

Even Patrick Roy had bad years, get over it guys. Is he here to win a Vezina or a Cup? Because if he's here to win a cup he has to play better and so does the team. We just lost a cup two years ago to a great team with Anti Niemmi in net. Were you impressed with him in that series?

The Penguins were due for a win against the Flyers and the Flyers are awful on these weekend games even without Bryz in net.

Id be lieing if I didn't say I'd like to see some sort of re-constructing or "amnesty" rule in regards to one contract on the new CBA.

I'll give him a treat, my boot up his ass...uming we could trade him, who really are we gonna get to come in here and play much better in front of a team effort(or lack there of) like that. Odd man rushes on a 5 on 4 and a 5 on 3. Come on.
