No. That's what you're incapable of understanding. If a pitcher makes a bad pitch and the 1B whiffs, you blame the pitcher AND the 1B. I'm fine with that logic. I've been employing it all year. My issue is with the posters (you included) that ONLY blame the goalie. When Giroux makes a stupid pass that forces Timonen to hook a player on a breakaway, you blame BOTH PLAYERS. It's not that hard of a concept. Accountability. Just like you expect the goalie to bail out the player's bad pass; the player needs to bail out the goalie by not putting him in a position to stop a breakaway.

Breakaways happen, and it's the goalies job to stop them. But the unnecessary breakaways that result from the unnecessary blind passes do NOT need to happen. But keep pointing the finger at Bryz, by all means. It fits right in with the rest of the Flyers fanbase.

Perhaps not crying over what other posters post would be a better option. Its a message board. If its that bothersome when someone rips a player who deserves it then maybe...

So from what it sounds like is that Columbus is trying to get Schenn and Couturier for Nash? (according to Tim P)

NO. THANK. YOU.

Bobrovsky has been brutal too, no question.

Bryzgalov however is supposed to be the #1. The big paid man. The guy.

He has failed them time after time, to have a kid in his second year in the NHL try and come in and save this team. Its getting really predictable.

Off to work hooligans. Only a matter of time before the rainbow and skittles crew try and defend Bryz. He was brutal and has been all season. Weak goal after weak goal. Those are killer, and need to stop. The goals he let in today sucked everything out of the team, as they would out of any team in the league. They were pucks that most NHL goaltenders stop, and the level of difficulty on stopping them was very low.

But lets let the rainbow and skittles crowd have its fun. SInce we get called the haters or something haha.

Good day hooligans, and good hockey.

I expect my goalie to make a routine save if a player turns it over. Turnovers are going to happen. Might as well had an empty net on those plays.

Also,

- feelingkettle

As I said before...The players are blocking shots for the goalie to help him out, but the goalie can't make basic saves to bail out the players if they make an error.

bryz for miller...
- Manitobakid

Like somebody said earlier. Other than somebody currently in the AHL, is there a goalie that would want to step into this mess? Whoever it is would need to have balls of steel and the mental toughness to match.

Are the Flyers somewhat in a position where they have 3 of the top possible young players Columbus could get for Nash? (JvR, Schenn, Couturier)

Of the other interested teams, what young up and coming players are being rumored in deals?

So if a poster directly responds to me, and I reply back, I'm crying? If someone quotes me, I should just ignore them because you don't want to see us argue? I'm confused, who is crying here...

Get over it.

Hockey isn't baseball.

The Goalie tends to be an important position.

Last night at skate and shoot, a kid asked me if I knew a goalie.

I thought for a second, then replied: "Nah. I'm a Flyer fan."

Bias.

Yes I am biased against a guy who lets his team down more than any other player.

Or maybe I just hate his looks? What kind of bias could I have?

There are plenty of goals over this season Bryz should have had that were also the result of bad plays by the team.

Even the first bad goal today was off a bad turnover and a 2 on 1. But it was a bad goal.

The second goal today was the worst goal all season in my opinion. Just an unscreened shot that he waved at. He wasn't even close to catching it.

The 3 on 5 goal was where a 10 million dollar goalie needs to step up and not allow the weak shot to go between his body and his arm. Sure the power play was just standing around making themselves easy to defend, even by 3 players......but Bryz HAS to make all three of those stops. HAS to.
