i think the flyers should put Bryz in the dunk tank tomorrow it would really help out with the fans frustration
- Slammed81

Actually, I think it might be better if he's not in the Philadelphia area at all for the carnival, lest it devolve into a lynch mob.

The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly listening to the Columbus Blue Jackets on the possibility of a trade involving Rick Nash. There's a lot of arguments against the Philadelphia Flyers going after Rick Nash, one of them being that it might lead to cap complications down the road. After all, Philadelphia already has nine players that are scheduled to come with a cap hit of $4 million or above next season and then you'd have to add Nash's $7,800,000 annual cap hit on top of that. Another argument against is that a scoring winger isn't among Philadelphia's bigger needs. GMs Scott Howson and Paul Holmgren are expected to meet, but Nash might not be the only or even top item on their agenda.

You gotta start just rolling with Bob at this point. Bryz has had more than enough time to get his poop together. Come back next year and try harder or something.
- eayost

He hasn't played well lately either. Here we go again, another year, another goalie carousel. At what point does it stop?

Sadly it's not just this game, Giroux can do things many players can't even try, but it's a toss up who's a bigger turnover beast between Carle and Giroux for the season.

No, but I don't think he played a shift in the second period.

I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Bryz and Bob both have to get it together. Money aside, I don't understand how we can suddenly blame one.

in Philly....
vs. Pens....
with Auger reffing....

oh ya, and Bryz starting goalie..................

- rockychocbill

You may have noticed earlier in the thread that I was surprised BOB didn't get the start because he's been money against us. Bad decision by Lava IMHO.

For Bob? He's a non-factor. The team needs to come out and clean up their sloppy play. The no-look passes by Giroux has indirectly resulted in 2 goals. Plenty of cross-ice passes that get picked off won't work. They didn't work with Richie and they won't work with Giroux and Briere....

We just can't be getting Nash. It has to be a 3 team trade of some sorts. I will actually be pissed if we get him and not a better dman.

I really hope not.

I'm not sure how that addresses the problems with team D and G.

3 way trade with columbus, and vancouver/isalnders.... we get schneider or nabakov, columbus gets bryz (waives to go where no one cares), nash to van/nyi and some other pieces tossed around in there....then i wake up

You know that will come in time. Us "haters" clearly have no idea.

I think its Sergei time. Give the kid a chance, a real chance, even if he has bad games.

There is a game in Winnipeg coming up, you just know that Bryzgalov has zero chance at starting in that game. Tells me all I need to know.

At least Carle does it because he is on an island half the time. With Giroux its just boatloads of stupid.

They're both probably below average.
