There's just way too much involved between players, picks, prospects to make the best deal during the season for the team that gets Nash. CBJ might be doing this during the deadline in the hopes that a desperate team gives up a ton. I just have a feeling whoever makes this trade within the next week may regret it in the future because they had to make a decision quickly....unless of course they win the cup.

Yeah, I mean, I thought it was kind of obvious that Brian Elliot goes from letting in beach balls from Ottawa, to Colorado, and then gets to St. Louis and is suddenly in the top of every goalie statistic known to man.

Give me a break. The guy isn't THAT good.

Mason is a young goalie who honestly should'nt even have made the NHL until last year or even this year. Goalies with his natural abilities shouldn't be rushed, because they have potential to be great.

Im afraid now that he'll never be the same player.

And for the record, Gauthier may have bought himself a couple weeks of summer-time on the job with the deal he made today. Very good return for a rental player.
