How, can anyone on their right mind say that its hard to score goals in today's nhl like Garth has pointed out?

Buffalo just got bled for 7 last night... What excuse is next? After last night, I'd say its easy to score goals in todays nhl. More excuses... That's all this is.

Yea I've heard that its not guaranteed that he would come over unless he really "wanted" to play for that team.

I don't know if I would want Buffalo draft the Forsberg kid at LW instead of a Center either though.

There are dozens and dozens of players who have left here and done nothing. A few happen to have been acquired by great teams heading into the playoffs and were fortunate to win a cup. Some players have left and had great careers. Some haven't. The same can be said for all teams and the same can be said for players that we acquired. Some came here and did well, some didn't. I just don't like the overly dramatic generalization.

I think he meant to say goals are hard to score, when you are soft, weak of mind and uninspired to play the game in this post lockout NHL.

I was under the impression that Grigorenko is already here and playing Canadian Junior hockey.

If true, that is a much better situation than bringing some kid over directly from Russia.
