Kesler would be a yes.
The rest, no, although RNH is very close.

- kingcong39

with RNH you are trading potential for potential.. i would have to consider it and i think i would lean towards yes

I vote no on Tavares and I would add Duchene to the list above.
- kingcong39

I would take Tavares over Duschene right now.

Kessler? In a nanosecond-

the eldest Staal? Brad Richards even though he is towards the end of his career? Tim Connolly? Kesler? RNH?
- SabresFaninIndiana

Staal maybe, no way Richards, Kesler I love was Im told he is a great #2 center but if he is your #1 center you might not have the success you're looking for. RNH...hmmm, not sure.

This is all pointless. The Sabres are not trading Myers. It is not happening.

Also, no one is trading the type of centers we would all hope to acquire for Myers. The Flyers are not trading Giroux. Not happening.

If you want a number one center you need to develop one. That is generally how it is done.

Maybe not straight up, but you don't think Myers as the key piece in a trade for Giroux would be possible? Philly has proven they will trade anyone on their team.
- Pierceme69

Giroux was the main reason they felt they could do that.

Hal Gill just got traded to Nashville.

Regier continues to sleep while the rest of the league works.

Agreed totally, hence the need for a high pick this year, and if not, trade for one.

That's the same reason I would never, ever, trade for Lecavalier.
His contract is about as bad as it gets and it goes forever.

Agreed. And they were 100% correct. This is all bluster because of a list I asked Homer to provide of centers he'd be willing to trade Myers for. No one actually thinks Philly will trade Giroux. I simply said he is a player I'd gladly trade Myers to acquire.

and still not win a Cup. Ok. Works for me.
- HonkFortheGoose

that statement is just as valid as saying Meyers will or won't be good. You don't know we wont win the cup without him, just as much as saying with him we will win the cup.

All I'm saying is sell high, get a decent center in here, help teh team now becasue our current talent may not be around long enough to see myers mature.... if he does at all.

To me, it's almost a necessity to have a guy like him on the team.
He is a mirror image of Drury from the past, and Callahan from the present.
