dont let facts get in the way of a good argument... - Ripped Fuel
Yeah fuel, you're right.
Those 0.21 g/g are a clear indication that the Rangers can't score.
Run with that-

Next Year's Lineup
Vanek Adam Pommer
Gerbe Ennis Leino
Tropp Grigorenko Kassian
Foligno Mccormick/Gausted ( if he resigns ) Kaleta ( Armia? )
Ehrhoff Myers
Mcnabb Sekera
Regehr Brennan
No playoffs next year
Ruff is still the head coach
We will dump Roy/Stafford/Leopold/Gausted at the deadline. We could have enough money next year to sign either Weber ( not Mike ) or Suter |

Come on. The guy is getting worse. He's even a - player now. His production is trending down. His defensive skills are trending down. - Full Throttle
The team is a mess. You put Myers on NYR and Del Zotto on Buffalo and see what you get out of each player. |

You get a stark reality for some here on this board.
I wonder how many Rangers fans would make that trade? |

You can't get a + on the PP. - Gunner Staal
I realize that. But scoring points and having a positive +/- doesn't mean that your defensive game doesn't need work. Gragnani has a good +/- but is a mess in his own end. |

and a plus 13.....hes not a scorer.....wheres myers +/- - Ripped Fuel
its a much more simple task to be a stay at home, bounce it of the glass and out Dman at 22/23 then having to be the man on your teams d and do it all.
Damn near impossible to have a good plus/minus on a bad team |

For those that say you are either great right away (by 22 as the mythical number apparently), or you never will be, I have question.
How long do you give a player to show his talent?
One season?
Half of a season?
20 games?
Zero patience is just as bad as too much patience. |

does it really matter how many fans would make that trade? Darcy would never and Sather would in a heartbeat. |

He most certainly has room to grow, but I wouldn't consider him a liability. |

I was just saying that he still has some consistency issues. Not that he's terrible. That's what the discussion was about. |

If the only way he plays better is being on a different team, then that kind of supports my thought on him being more valuable to us as trade bait than playing for us. |

I read a story on line that said 85% of former Wings season ticket holders, when asked why they gave up their seats answered "Because Homer doesnt like their style of play...and ...well..he knows EVVVVERYYYTHING!"

That may been the funniest post I've read on this site over the past 3 years |

The players I know all hate plus minus and think its a BS stat anyway. Perfect example is Gragnani. Grag's is what, a plus 12 and Nash is a -17, or close.....silly stat. |

AMMMMMMMEEEENNNNN only person here with a clue - Ripped Fuel
So it was lost on both of you that Homer's point was that the Rangers are a vastly better team than Buffalo and that was why he would be better on them versus the Sabres this season? |

It's not a matter of him playing better, it's a matter of him having a better team around him. It's a lot easier to be successful on a team that is performing well than on one that's not. |

Not nearly the expert you purport yourself to be.
Myers = good, Miller = good, Gerbe = 3rd line player at best, Kaleta = just about outlived his usefullness, and Vanek is anything but lazy.
That's just IMO only. |
