Lindy actually broke that line up during the Montreal game that Miller stood on his head early in the season because the team was struggling as a whole. He put Roy there and they ended up winning the game.

Adam played himself off that line if you believe people like Paul Hamilton. People can say what they want about Homer, but he told people Adam was in the dog house and would get sent down and MOST people on here gave him poop for it.

That's pretty much every year. He has 134 Goals and 320 assists for his career. He is not a huge goal scorer, which is fine. If he centered Vanek and Pominville each of those guys would have 35-40 goals.

That's because Boston's style was new, and teams cowered in front of it. This year, your seeing teams figure it out. Boston will not win the Cup this year.

He gets you 20 G and 60-70 A a year. I'll take that over most. I need a center who can dish it to my talent. He is the guy who can do that.

I agree. I'm pretty sure that's what Goose was saying when you disagreed with her. I think you misunderstood what she was saying.

He's also really lazy and out of shape, thus the bad year. Proceed with caution with him. I didnt know this either from the outside but that's what I'm told is the reason he is down this year. Has a lil problem with the sauce too.

I'm not saying him in particular, just using him as an example. The G to A ratio is how it should be based on the team needs here. There are plenty of guys on this roster that have the talent to score, it's just a matter of having someone who can distribute them the puck.

The Rangers aren't playing Boston's style. Nobody fears that the Rangers are going to beat the living hell out of you. Who was it that said this year "all they ever do is block shots"? It's a little more hard nosed, I agree, but it's not the same. Plus, the Rangers do have a bit more skill sprinkled in.

I honestly would trade any player on this team to get Getzlaf. He is exactly what we don't have. A big play making center. He's only 26 too. It seems like he's been around a long time but he's still young.
