With wondering whether or not Grossman can play the right side, I'd also like to know who is likely to get sent down (if one of Gus or Burdon can be sent down). I'm assuming because of the deadline coming in just over a week away that we'll need all the cap space we can get.

You remember that eh? Yes I looked but no, there is no connection between him and anyone currently on the team. Not from what I've seen that is.

I wanted to make note that Luke Schenn has a lot of strong ties to players currently playing on this team.

i don't know how anybody can seriously want to trade jvr at this stage of his career. unless it's an absolute no-brainer deal of the century deal, which isn't happening, you let him get healthy and continue to develop.
- hammarby31

I don't either. Said on twitter and in here, JVR has 7 fewer goals than Nash and he hasn't even played half a season. There's plenty of offense, our D-corp just got better and right now we need another forward to help on PK. That one last piece might be the tweak this team needs to get past NY or Boston.

Only connection I could make was with a Phantom. He played for the Iowa Stars at the same time as Dan Jancevski.

Bill,

Can Grossman play the right side for a left handed shooter?

- roenick97

He's played some on the right side this season but I think he's more comfortable on the left. Since Flyers D corps is entirely LH shooters, he'll have to adapt to wherever he's put.

After the quick start for both I could have seen 20 and 12 maybe but not this.

Kings fans said Simmonds was a 3rd liner who would score 15 tops. I guess that's why they're Kings fans

- Buts16

Exactly Butsy... i.e the Kings fan that was trying to say Mike Richards and his 28 points this year was a steal for them.

Btw, I know that team doesn't score and nobody really is having a good year over there, but what the (frank) happened to Mike Richards. The kid was a heart and soul player, who not only could put up the points, but had every intangible. I've watched him so much this year (thank you center ice) and he just doesn't have it anymore. Looks like he doesn't even want to play anymore. He looks dreadfully out of shape. It's a shame.

Happened to catch a bit on WIP this morning and just gives me more incentive to not listen. As some already know I wasn't able to catch te game Last night but you would think the big story would be 7 goals after spotting the sabres 2. Nope. Cataldi instead blast them for being a mentally deficient team. Rips them up and down about being the scum of the league for two weeks and says not one word about them winning...

I heard ASF was on saying the Flyers may look to move Bryz before the deadline. Ok first of al . Second of all, I like ASF but he isn't even around the team anymore. He was taken off the beat by the Delco times. I don't know where they get this stuff sometimes

Yeah, right?

Bryz is a negative asset right now. No choice but to pray that he turns it around next season.

I give him credit for showing some emotion, the Vanek and Roys wanted nothing to do with the Flyers after the 1st period.
- Buts16

That said, neither did Miller. He looked utterly disinterested and then you could see his face after the Hartnell goal. He literally had the expression of "get me the (frank) off this team...NOW!"
