If I'm spending 7 million on a player, he better be elite. Otherwise it's just wasting money. I'd love to get Vanek, Miller and Staff off the books. That is a lot of money to work with.

If darcy plans on moving roy, 3 centers are needed

w/o icing a team with 3 legit centers, this team will not compete for a cup in 2 years and thus no reason to keep any of the current sabres with deals running up by the end of 2014

Its also called having 3 great centers 2 from tanking pervious years and ending up with great draft positions. We have no pieces to make moves like that.

I disagree with hot sauce too.

Carter (11th) Richards (24th) both after Vanek. You don't need to tank to get good centers.
