Why did Crawford open his legs - did he see Philco coming?

Very slick little move by Freddy Kruger to get the puck out from behind the net

Great job by the Hawks tonight. Crawford was good. Kitchen finally gets his head out of his ass and the special teams have a great night.

It's finally over.!!!

Forgot what a win looked like ! Still want Stan to add a power forward and or top 4 d man, will settle for a #5 d man that is very physical...

Good game - all our problems are solved now.

:;-):

Good defense, good goalie (one soft goal), excellent PK, poor PP.

First excellent game by Hossa in a long time, Stalberg good (except for failing to clear before the second goal), Toews as strong as he's been in a while, Kane OK....

Rangers are having a terrific season. They're on a very short list of teams one would want to avoid a 7-game series with.

Overall very good game by the Hawks, 2nd game straight they've looked solid. I thought they deserved at least a point in Nashville but can't understate it enough, this is a huge win. Now take care of business in Columbus.

Penalty kill was awesome and the Penalty Shot was huge. PP was at least getting shots to the net and looked like they were moving better. Still needs work though.

Flyers pumped in 7 in a row on the Sabres after falling behind 2-0. Sabres are done, time to start dismantling.

I thought this was a perfect skid ending game, in the sense that they corrected some problems like the team defense, pk and goaltending against a good team, while others remain like the pp which will keep them working at it instead of thinking everythings ok now.

I thought Craw had a good game. to all not seeing it on the second goal, the puck was deflected which is why it got through. On the first goal, he didn't see a thing. The bottom line is he made every save he should have, and didn't look as 'wild' in the net as he has.

the pk went 7 for 7 and showed speed, aggressiveness and discipline positionally.

All in all, good effort and good start back up the ladder. Now let's keep it going.

Little tidbit on Kubina for those interested: Pierre Lebrun reports his agent is meeting with yzerman tomorrow to settle on his list of teams.

Agreed, you can't blame the defencemen when forwards do what Bolland and Stalberg did late in the 3rd.

Team played a good game toniight but when watched closely the forwards do make plenty of coverage errors.

I hope one of the beat writers asks if they felt disrepected because the Rangers started Biron and if that was extra motivation...
