Bailey is used to scoring? Really Butch? - mighty13duck
Did he really say that? Well bad owner, building, GM, coach, and players might as well have bad broadcasters. |

I'd like to spit in Rolston's mouth. With a 12 gauge. - eichiefs9
don't worry, extension coming. If you were in Garth Snow's wedding party you'll never be unemployed. Speaking of which, what's Mike Dunham up to these days? |

whats he really learning though? Yes he is in and around an NHL team. But our dips!t Bluto Blutarski of a coach is putting Nino with the most useless "NHL" players in the league. That doesn't help his development. The kid needs to be put in Bridgeport next year so he doesn't fall under the bailey effect aka being rushed into the league and thus not panning out. - NewYawkIslandez
Yeah, he won't stay here....not to play on that line, anyway. I'm starting to think Bailey just is what he is. This guy is different. He just needs to play on the top line in BP next year, and we'll see him here as a completely different player a couple of years from now, IMO.

If we take 2 of the next 3 in regulation I'll still hold on to a microscopic sliver of hope. If not I'm cashing it in. |

Your a better man than me chief. I just read Dee's comments and Jack said they made adjustments and played pretty well? There was no anger from Crappy? Firing is too good for this guy. |

Believe me, take what I said with not a grain, but a rock of salt. I mean if they win 2/3 in regulation I won't say "this season is cooked", I'm not particularly optimistic either way.
The only thing keeping me even mildly sane is the fact that it's nice to even be playing for something, regardless of how unlikely it is. |

i wouldnt blame the lose on montoya. few of the goals were nice redirects. what do you expect when you havent played in months. He actually looked sharp in 3rd period. score could have been worse.
isles got flat after first goal, and got outplayed and out-muscled.
our specialty teams sucks and of course Rolston sealed the deal for the loss with his incredibly (bad) play
rather take the loss tonight and have them win the next 3 games that actually really count. |

I don't think the isles were bad aside from a 5 minute span in the first. Elliot was excellent and Montoya looked un steady at best. Still don't think they deserved to win but I can't say that they were terrible tonight. |

I was just looking at that draft. Do you know who else went ahead of Giroux? Your very own Ty Wishart. And Grabner.

You're right, lots of questionable names ahead of Giroux. Gotta give the Flyers some credit on that one. |

Thats the draft for ya.........it happens all the time. Very similar to Zack Parise. After the top 5 its usually a crap shoot. I dont necessarily give the Flyers credit, as I think there is a large amount of luck in it. If they were so sure of this kid being what he is, then one would think they would have traded up, no? |

You see this is the problem with the isles. Not to beat a dead horse here, but its the same merry go round all year. They win 2 maybe 3 games, and start to look like a team, then when the "must win" games come they dont show up. We as fans keeps getting our hopes up........8 pts out, 6 pts out, back to 8 pts out. What does this tell us??? It says that regardless if this team makes the playoffs or not, they are NOT a playoff team. This is why the isles should be selllers at the deadline. I understand they dont want to "give up" on the season, but at what point does logic take over. Stop lying to us fans..........we know the deal. The rebuild is moving SLOWWWWLLYYY, but we all know this team isnt ready to make the next step this season. DO the right thing Garth and get on those phones.......start making moves. Package up Nabby, PA, and throw in Grabner.......a prospect and or a pick and bring in someone who is NHL ready and can help this team next year. |
