The only reason I think the Hawks would even think about trading Kane is his rumored attitude. Who knows if that Cab incident was isolated or whatever, but otherwise I can't see it happening either.
Darcy Regeir doesn't have a history of making wild trades either - Isles316
It all depends on what's going on behind closed doors. Kane for Miller isn't a lop-sided deal. Miller is one of the best goaltenders in the league and he's just entering his prime. Kane is one of the best scorers in the league, also on the fringe of the beginning of his prime. Maybe there are other issues with Kane in Chicago? Maybe Miller is really giving Buffalo problems behind closed doors? I think both teams should keep their respective guys, but I wouldn't be shocked if that deal happened and I wouldn't think one of the teams got hosed in the deal if it went through. |

Exactly. Plus they are due to lose at home and for some reason the Islanders play better against the good teams. Toronto won last night which sucks so it is a must win - kasperrko
Blues are 11-0-2 v East |

I agree with that 100%. Never really thought of Miller of having issues but you never know. If both guys are giving their respective team trouble then it's a very fair trade for both sides. |

Isles have best record in East vs. Western teams in last two seasons. It will probably be a close game. Isles always seem to play well vs. the good west teams. |

First off they are almost never trading Kane and if they did it would be more like
Kane and Bickell for
PAP, Nino, Poulin, and a 1st at the least!!Second, Montoya and Nabokov are both rhythm goalies that don't like sitting. They both need to keep playing game after game in order to stay hot. This is why Montoya seems off lately, he is sitting too much. It is a tough situation to have because you can't play both every night! - Islesfan28
done for Kane u can have Nabby too. |

That means they're due for a loss. Hopefully tonight. The Isles need the points. The Blues? Not so much. Maybe the Blues will be real sports and lay down tonight... |

Scratch that. Isles are only good at home vs. the West. But, I still think it will be a low scoring close game |

Trading Patrick Kane would be a bad move for Chicago. He's so good its scary. - kindlyrick
exactly.. which is why Isles should/would give just about anyone not named Tavares to get him. ... fix for Now.. Nabby.. fix for future.. Poulin.. what else u want? first round pick.. here... Nino... sure.. good enough? |

As per Isles Twitter, same lineup as Tuesday. How does Brian Rolston get to play again? It's that crap that bothers me more than anything. |

They won on Tuesday. He's obviously the secret to their success. |

Absolutely...........I hope the Rangers trade for Nash and it screws up their chemistry and they get ousted in the first round. Yes I know, I'm a hater! - BringBackBalky
Recent history shows that the rags will be ousted in the first round. Honestly, the rags play pretty decent on the regular season and always fall short in the first round of the post season. |

They're usually never this good this late and have shown no sign of slowing down. They haven't lost 2 games in a row since December 15th. |

That should be on the Isles 2011-2012 Season Highlight DVD - Isles316
Yeah you know I was at the other game the other night and they were showing the Islanders 40 year history thing and they had a clip of DP and my son asked me "who in the world is that? I never even heard of him?" All the people around us laughed |

That's classic. Too bad that wasn't video taped because it should be the clip directly after DP getting concussed on the highlight video. |

It's maddening. To all the folks who keep saying they're sick of everyone always complaining about Rolston, there's a simple reason for it. It's a glaring problem that's remarkably easy to correct, and they just never fix it. It's just the most puzzling thing in the world to me. It's not like past years where the Isles had no other options...just put Wallace in for crying out loud...even he is better. It's not like Rolston's a career-long Islander so maybe the team owes him. It's not like he does anything away from the puck where the stats don't tell the whole story. If anyone has any reason at all why he's there, please help me solve the mystery, because the only thing I can come up with is...he's Doug Weight's friend. It's not the cap...the salary counts whether he's scratched, waived, or whatever.
Who makes the call? Cappy? He didn't seem too happy with Rolston last game. Snow? If so, why is he making coaching decisions? I can't imagine Wang is that involved to make a call like this...

I'll bet you $20 that someone will tell you that Wang is involved in personnel decisions with zero fact or knowledge to back that up. |

Wallace doesn't hurt us and he hits a bit and can actually win a one on one battle. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Wallace should be here but he actually does have some qualities that Rolston doesn't. |

Even if he was equally as bad, talent-wise, as Rolston I'd rather see him in there because at least he hustles and act like he wants to be there. |

Id truly like to see that series. Would be good to get the rivalry going again. It has not been the same the last few years. |
