Butch Goring and Montoya are clearly in a relationship. Goring won't stfu! Your a professional athlete you dumbie! You should always be ready to play, its your (frank)ing job you dumbass. Goring is such a loser, no wonder he was an Islander coach.
- Mr.Black

No excuse Al has to be ready to play. He's given the team nothing every game he plays.

I'm guessing Nabokov is blowing chunks in the room after watching Montoya play the goal this evening. I'm lucky I didn't eat much myself.

Ok so Nino set up Pandolfo, loser missed and the Blues come down the ice and score. That's 2 points (reasoner last game and pandolfo tonight) that Nino has lost because he plays with (frank)ing idiots. When will Cap learn

I think Gorings comments about the Blues bringing in Hitchcock says it all about our management. He pretty much said the Islanders are jack asses for siging capuano, best thing was he didn't even realise it, love Goring

I honestly wouldn't care if Snow offered Suter a $10m cap hit per year to come here. Defense is atrocious.

Blues announcers (not Pang, their lead commentator) just made a great point. "If you have the fifth overall pick struggling in the NHL like this, well why is he playing in the NHL right now?

I'd have no problem with it. Defense is brutal but Nabby was still getting it done.

Not for nothing but gretzky would have a hard time playing with Nino's line mates.

Well I unfortunately think Nabby will retire or play elsewhere when the season is over. I hope thats not the case but thats what I'm gonna predict

Because he's learning more here than he would as a 19-20 year old dominating children in junior. This is more an issue of the stupid league rules (probably the fault of the NHLPA more than anything else) than anything we are doing wrong.....where he SHOULD be is Bridgeport, and that's where he will be next year, IMO.

No question he is gone. He needs to be traded at this point because this team is done. I think PA may need to go as well.

Well, glad I had to DVR this game...I just watched it in super fast motion from the second period on...I saw where it was heading after the second goal.

whats he really learning though? Yes he is in and around an NHL team. But our dips!t Bluto Blutarski of a coach is putting Nino with the most useless "NHL" players in the league. That doesn't help his development. The kid needs to be put in Bridgeport next year so he doesn't fall under the bailey effect aka being rushed into the league and thus not panning out.

Many players better than Niederreiter played in juniors when they were 19. This whole notion that he could just point to the net and score whenever he wanted to there is just...wrong.

he gets to learn the speed of the game, tactics, systems, how to be physically prepared, learns alot about his game and where it needs to be if he wants to be in the league. Breaking into the NHL regardless of age is a learning experience. It's an eye opener whether your Nino or Sidney Crosby. Sending Nino to Bridgeport next year would just shatter his confidence, thats ridiculous. You don't make him play a full season than put him in the minors.

So after Rolston probably broke friggin Moulson's hand I turned it off and began to catch up on comments.. I am crying laughing. Thanks gents.. This team and organization is killing me but reading the comments cheered me right back up. I could tell what part of the game it was by the comments.

Everyone with Flu except Rolston...

spit in rolston's mouth.. friggin epic.

Montoya sux.. way to keep stick down (had to be pp goal were he was standing up like their wasn't a game being played).

I can believe Butch just pronounced Pietrangelo correctly

Gretzky couldn't score on Nino's line

friggin awesome..
