I blame Bryzgalov for getting him sick.... Oh wait... he might actually have done that.
- PLindbergh31

I'm picturing Jagr telling a sick Bryz to go sit at another table....

People think he doesn't suck anymore
- Scottie Upshall

How do you figure he does? It's not just the shutout either. It might be the fact that in his last 8 starts he has only given up more than one goal twice. IF that isn't a mark of improving I don't know what is. Will he have bad games? I'm sure there will be some, but so do all good goalies, the only one who hasn't this year is Lundqvist.

Laviolette said as much in his interview on 97.5 yesterday. It's obvious spin and not at all based in facts like the 1.47 GAA and .937 Save % he's had in the last several games (can't recall how many games Lavi said that was).

There are rules for posting crazy trade ideas...

1. You have to include at least 3 teams.
2. You have to think about what would piss people off the most.
3. You have to post lines after.

You failed on all 3 rules....

Let me Show you...

1 & 2 To Flyers... Weber, Sanford
To Nashville... Nash
To Columbus... Bob, JVR, Flyers 1,

3. Hartnell-Giroux-Jagr
Read-Briere-Simmonds
Schenn-Couturier-Simmonds
Sestito-Talbot-Rinaldo

Weber-Carle
Timonen-Coburn
Gus-Meszaros

Bryz
Sanford

- RooNosHockey

If you posted that as a Proposal I wouldn't give you much flak. The cap would need some tweaking but... I'm rather impressed Roo.

Last year I got my wife a Jersey, and she wanted to put Carter's name on the back, so we did... She was so pissed when he got traded...

This year she got a New Jersey... JVR... I think next year I might get her a Shelly Jersey.

I'm sorry but I'm gonna defend this guy till the end as things are. Because in his wins his numbers are fantastic but his losses he's got bad numbers. I don't think his bad performance is all on him. The way this team is playing defense it is very plausible to think if we kept Boucher and Bob this year we could be in the bottom half of this conference.

Yea man, you gotta put some thought into these... But I do think the cap would be fine after you send down MAB or GUS, Shelly, Rinaldo, and figure in Sanford is a cap reduction to Bob...

And lets not forget that Bryz has been the one in net for the better teams.

In reality, I usually hear a rumor from either Ek, or 4th period or THN or TSN, and try to figure out what it would take to get it done... I dont make up the team's involved.

Bryzgalov has been playing the better teams, while Bob has been playing the weaker teams... Also in Bryz's last 8 games he has been really good. Like a 1.7 gaa and .930 sv%. and that includes games agaisnt boston and rangers.

They played Vancouver, NJ, LA Phx all teams in Playoff contention that they beat and that's off the top of my head.
Edit: IMHO he should be fired just for that.

exactly, while they didnt have the hardest schedual, they did have challenging oppentents during the first three months. how he cant get his facts right for someone who claims to be an accomplished writer is amazing tbh.
