Not one of the top 6 they drafted, all traded or signed as UFAs

So perhaps you don't have to draft dmen, you just need to trade and sign the rights ones.

Highly doubt that will ever happen. Kimmo would more likely ride the season out and retire to his homeland if he was that unhappy with the outlook for the team.

So Columbus just gave up A very good player for two guys past their primes. No one in that front office would deserve another NHL job again.

I can't believe goaltenders in the 50's played without masks. Yes I realize the blades of the sticks weren't curved, and the guys weren't as big and strong.... still seems insane to me.
