Patrick Kane for Ryan Miller makes too much sense to possibly happen

Drill more. Who needs Moose anyway?
- RooNosHockey

and who needs moose? how about the folks that have to pay $10 for a gallon of milk in the store and have no real means to make a living? The ones who have to subsist on this (frank)ing animal? you want to take it away from them so that you can drive your gas guzzling turbo car?

Uh, they do. All you have to do is claim it on your income taxes.

Does anybody think the Kane for Miller deal has legs?

True, but I doubt we see JvR or Couturier or Schenn moved for a rental. They move a kid like that, it's for a guy who will be playing here for years.
- Jsaquella

This I would be fine with. But, and I am probably wrong, I don't remember the organization having this history in the past. I keep thinking About Danny Markov, Adam Oates.

I am probably wrong.

I like the win now philosophy of this team for sure. But, since they havent won a god damned thing since 1975, one would hope that developing a team would be a change. I mean, look how good this team is now, and think how good they could be for years. Adding parts in FA, making tweaks.

It seems to many people are talking about major changes, like Rick Nash, who according to the Columbus blogger is the best penalty killer in the NHL, but who's salary basically kills this teams depth. Same with Weber. What good is having either of them if we cant afford to pay players to play with them?

Now is the time for patience. The fans will understand, because obviously the current "this year" philosophy has been less than successful.

But that is probably just me.

Not sure if it differs state to state.. but that was dropped 3 years ago. I take the train to and from work every single day.. and have for the past 6 years. 3 years ago I was no longer able to claim it on my income taxes.

I think if Homer trades a Schenn, Couturier or JvR, it's for a guy that will be here for a long time.

Guy like Harry Z and Picks maybe for a rental. If they can get a Kubina for Harry Z and a 2nd, they might do that.

I haven't seen that anywhere, but on the surface it seems to make a lot of sense to me.

I don't hope for injuries, but I kinda expect the bug will soon bite the Rangers as well.
- Hextall271

It is actually the Bruins who hadn't been bitten this season yet. The Rangers had plenty early. But we'll see how Chara comes back from his lovely shot to the face. Eeep.

Is everything still quiet on the Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf trade rumors? All this talk about Nash and Carter.... These guys are going unnoticed right now... If we can get guys like Hall, Moore, Gilroy, or Clark from Tampa for cheap, then we can send a package to Anaheim for Ryan... Like JVR, Voracek, and a First.

Hartnell-Giroux-Ryan
Schenn-Briere-Jagr
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Moore-Talbot-Hall

Timonen-Coburn
Carle-Gilroy
Meszaros-Gus

If only dreams do come true.

Sounds awful. At least Thoreson is no longer on the team. He couldn't afford a ball rot.
