Flyers may not be done working on their blueline. Would like to add 1 more and will look all options (Schenn, Johnson, Gill).

If he took a pay cut, I would...depending on cap, too. I worry with the injuries and age, though
- Jsaquella

Yea, and I wonder if it continues to level off or slow down more, injuries, if he doesn't call it. He seems like a guy who won't bother unless he can compete at a high level.

Well ... The good news is I don't have to listen to Jeanerette tonight as the standoff between MSG Network and Time Warner continues.

Unfortunately, for some reason, the game will be blacked out on Center Ice.

Grossman: Very good size, good positioning. Very limited puck skills and limited physicality for his size.

This from a guy who writes a Stars blog.

I don't mind the limited puck skills, but how can a guy who is 6'4" 230 have limited physicality for his size?

He's been credited with 96 hits. I think that, from what Bill's written and others I have read that he's not always physical. Doesn;t shy away from it, but he;s not running around and hitting eveeything that moves.

That makes sense. 96 hits is a pretty solid total. I haven't seen much of Grossman, but I think he will be a solid addition. Stay at home guys are important.

Friggin' Panaccio...

Tim Panaccio @tpanotchCSN

Curiously, Holmgren said he would not use the word "unlikely" to describe making a major trade. He used "probably not"

My response?

Flyskippy Zudrak @FlySkippyZudrak

@tpanotchCSN Hmm. Probably (adverb)... Antonym: Unlikely. Thus, "Probably not" and "Unlikely" are synonymous. thesaurus.com/browse/probably

I just saw the Good News everyone. I didn't see what for but the help on the blue line is long over due. I don't know a whole lot about Grossman but everyone has been talking about him for a while so hopefully he doesn't disappoint.

I am just logging on for this one too.. Looks like a good start. A big body to help as a crease clearer. If he ends up being like Rags, I am happy. Also, this whole thing about Homer saying not unlikely about Nash is crazy... it'd take a lot to get him. I'd rather get Gaustad and maybe one more dman.

Bill was spot on.. this team doesn't know the meaning of throw in the towel.

There is no need to. This team always slides in February. Valentines Day drinking. March they are strong and playoffs they should be.
