I'm going to piss you off even more... Your ticket money is peanuts... Lets put it this way. If I was allowed to take .0001% interest on all the transactions my clients make in 1 day, I would make about 10 million per day...

Michael Bolton can write you a program for that.

I woke up this morning thinking to myself how badly the Flyers need to draft a defenseman in the first round.

Claude Giroux
James van Riemsdyk
Brayden Schenn
Sean Couturier
Wayne Simmonds
Jake Voracek
Matt Read
Eric WellWood
Nick Cousins

Erik Gustafsson.

Sergei Bobrovsky

We're okay in every other position but D. I like Gus but he's small. He's really really small.

- roenick97

Unless we can get a 20 year old stud dman in a trade I keep the 1st we have and draft just that.

I agree with Mezzy and his bomb.

Why is it he doesn't get more PP time?

- ggunky

Lava sees stuff I dont.. bec I would have Coburn out there. I have had enough of JVR Read and Czechie running the point.

Put Coby and Meszy out there.. move the puck and set up those shots.

From a fan's perspective (and as someone paying for playoff tix) I understand that. But from the Flyers perspective, every game played at home in the playoffs is revenue earned. They want to go as deep as they can, for the money and for the experience for this pretty young team. Cooter and Schenn would really benefit by going a round or two and seeing what it's all about. And Simmonds might enjoy actually winning a round.

This makes a lot of cents.

I think we should keep the first beyond all and draft a Dman. I do have to ask though, have we really missed Luca Sbisa?

Makes sense.

Currently, and it seems more than likely the Flyers will be playing one out of Florida, Pittsburgh or Boston in the first round.

They have a shot against Florida and the Pens. Which I think can be accomplished without wasting assets for say Gill or Kubina. After that you go to round two and I dont see the Flyers making it past the teams there. Even with Gill or Kubina.

I understand going as deep as you can, and in the playoffs anything can happen, but management needs to be realistic here.

If it were only that simple. Im also tired of having a forward at the point on the PP as well.

Is everything still quiet on the Bobby Ryan, Ryan Getzlaf trade rumors? All this talk about Nash and Carter.... These guys are going unnoticed right now... If we can get guys like Hall, Moore, Gilroy, or Clark from Tampa for cheap, then we can send a package to Anaheim for Ryan... Like JVR, Voracek, and a First.

If JVR gets moved I'm likely to be mad. Can always move him next year if hes not working out. His value is so low right now

My wife and I were wondering this very topic the other night. Why isn't Coburn being used to skate the puck up ice and try some things the way Timonen has this season?

Anaheim is 14-2-1 in their last 17 games. They aren't going to be sellers.

Anaheim has been playing decent hockey of late. I dont know if the Ducks are willing to move any of those guys anymore.

I was in Detroit to see the Flyers take on the Wings and even though Simmonds didn't register a point, man is that guy a hard worker. I mean, I always knew it from watching the games on TV but you have to see him in person to understand. I was way up in the nose bleeds but when he went for a fake punch on Franzon in the first period, everyone in the stands felt his anger.

Your that worried if Carter goes to Toronto?
- stveshdy

Not worried about Carter, but that means Schenn is out of the picture for us.

They prefer to have Giroux or Jagr try and deke it through 3 guys.

(frank) that Winnipeg game has made me negative this season

No question. Have to think his value is at an all-time low. He's currently still experiencing concussion symptoms, as well as likely needing some sort of core surgery. Trading him now, makes little sense.

I wish the Flyers would play some decent 14-2-1 hockey. Hell, at this point I would settle for them winning a home game.

Yes, if we kept him on the 4th line LW, we never would have needed Shelley.
