Bourque is a smaller Hagelin and Thomas, although doing well again in the OHL, is too small for me to consider him a true untouchable.

Like TPC already stated, Miller and Kreider are the only two current studs in the organization.

he has shown nothing in his first pro season, if it wasn't for his name he wouldn't even be mentioned ever.

I am a little suprised because I thought he was the best player in Traverse City along with Erixon.

Yea what ever happened to Bourque? I remember we were so high on him in the traverse camp. We thought he had more upside then Hagelin if I remember correctly.

MM no way buddy. Eriksson is not leaving Dallas. Like Pete and others have said he is a big piece there who is young and signed to a very reasonable price long term. There is no way in hell they move him. 2 players on Dallas that they wouldn't think of moving and that is Jamie Benn, and Eriksson. I know you want to dream of something like this happening but there is no way.

I could see guys like Morrow, Ryder, or even a guy like Ribiero being moved but not Loui Eriksson.

You weren't the first person I have heard this rumor from. My good buddy told me this could happen a few days ago.

It makes sense for both teams, I think.

Crawford is probably involved in this deal as well, if it does go down.

I am hoping for at least five really big trades before or at the deadline.

None of those players are on the level of Loui Eriksson. Kevin Shattenkirk was having a fabulous rookie season and Erik Johnson was just coming back from injury but was a former 1 pick. Both teams were taking a risk. I don't understand how you can compare this type of trade to trying to acquire Loui Eriksson. I don't think you realize how good this guy is. Dallas isn't a team that likes to spend money so here they have a guy who is signed for another 3 or 4 more years to a very reasonable price. The guy has averaged about a PPG. Why doesn't Dallas just fold up the franchise and trade Jamie Benn while they are at it too.
