Good point. The only thing i could say is, sometimes it takes time to build chemistry. I do believe that Nash has to play with a specific type of player to get his full potential. He is a power forward, and needs a play making center who can score. Someone who can draw the D to them with the threat to score.

Joni Pitkanen had a better PPG average at the same stage in his career.

May be true but Pitkanen could never play Defense at the lvl which Doughty plays at. Points will come for Drew. Once he figures out how to create room on the blue line now that everyone knows who he is. Hes gotta take the next step in his career of adjustment. |

I have no problem with a Nash -> LA rumor. I and I think we all have a serious problem with the one that was reported today. If your sources are still backing that particular rumor I'd advise dumping those sources immediately. |

The Olympics is a tournament that lasts a month. Anyone could rise up for that. Drew has yet to prove to be consistant over long period of time in the NHL season. There are constant rumors of him being out of shape and so far this season, he has played mediocre hockey after gettting a huge contract.
I am not doubting his on the ice skills...but not many players can be great if their head isnt in it.

Wrong. There isnt constant rumors of him being out of shape. He was in tip top shape because he wasnt even with the team for camp due to no contract. He is a very consistent Defense man. He just isnt getting all the points in the world. But he shows up and plays High end Defense every game. Doughty isnt getting traded for anything. |

Yep. Good player, but not the guy some people seem to think he is. His play at the World Championships is way better than anything he's ever done at the NHL level.
