So Nash was dying to play for Toronto, and then re-signed with Columbus?
- Atomic Wedgie

Well to not show your complete contempt for the actual idea Nash would like to play here. He was a Columbus player all his NHL life who thought his team was on the upswing when he resigned. It's not like he was a complete free agent at the time of his re-upping with columbus.

Right.. trade all the players. That will fix it all. Never mind the horrible management the team has. Columbus will be the Panthers of this next decade. Feel bad for their fans..

At the Olympics? Not a chance. Dude didn't have chemistry with ANYONE.

Couldn't play with Crosby. Was basically a third wheel with Getz-Perry..

I think Nash is a very good player, but he never seems able to play with anyone with any consistency, and he seems to have trouble cycling the puck. Play always seems to die on his stick.

Just my opinion though.

I seem to remember watching him play with Crosby and just being a big dominate body. I think he scored 5 pts in 7 games.

He was an all-star at the age of 20, and was the best defenseman in the Olympics for Team Canada.
- LeachHextall27

The Olympics is a tournament that lasts a month. Anyone could rise up for that. Drew has yet to prove to be consistant over long period of time in the NHL season. There are constant rumors of him being out of shape and so far this season, he has played mediocre hockey after gettting a huge contract.

I am not doubting his on the ice skills...but not many players can be great if their head isnt in it.

I dont think anyone feels bad about either teams fans really. And both places should be happy they even have a team, and enjoy it while it lasts.

I love how Howson is stating there's a plan in place to fix the team.... is his firing part of it? I feel for these small market teams. I suffered through COUNTLESS GM's and coaches as a fan of this team. We're on the right track NOW.

Let's put it this way, the last time I was at a playoff game, I left the arena with 10 minutes left in the game after we got spanked by the Devils. 11 years ago.

But as for Nash... i think Nash is in a little bit of the same situation that Joe Thornton was. People dont realise his true value because of the talent around him.

Is this seriously coming from the team who doesn't even have an owner? And are you trying to insult a fan of the team who not only just got new owners, but new owners who's business is right here in South Florida? I'm confused.

What really stinks, is CLS is a great city, and has a really good fan base. The arena was sold out every night when we made are playoff run... and even now they still avg 16k fans a night

He got taken off Crosby's line because the had zero chemistry.

Nash had 5 points in 7 games, yes... that put him behind:

Jonothan Toews
Sidney Crosby
Jarome Iginla
Dany Heatley
Ryan Getzlaf
Eric Staal
Dan Boyle
Duncan Keith
Shea Weber

Only Thornton, Morrow and Bergeron had fewer points as forwards for Team Canada.

Nash was also a +1, which was tied for 3rd worst, (or 16th best) on Team Canada.

I have family up there, and went to see a game a few years back against the Wild. I was blown away. Nice area, nice people... good place to play some hockey.

1000 percent agree....Theres a reason he was taken first overall.

Its actually laughable to hear that he isnt that good.
