If Nash had 30 goals and 30 assists right now I'd be right there with ya. But he doesn't and that scares the f!#$ out of me that we'll give up tons of prospects for a 70 point guy.

Leino's contract isn't THAT unreasonable. Trust me, I watched the guy for an entire season. Give him time to get comfortable, and hell prove he's worth keeping around. The fact that he hasn't been that healthy hasn't really helped either. Trust me, once he's flirting with 60 points again, the contract becomes much easier to swallow.

You'll KNOW when your watching the real Ville Leino. You'll get excited everytime he touches the puck.

Leino is not necessarily over-rated, he's just about a mill-half mill over paid (based on his talent).

Im not even talking contract. Im stating that just in general, Rick Nash is over-rated.

Bob M's list centered around NYR, BOS, SJ, PHI, VAN, LA. If the whole reason you're unhappy in an organization that's not winning (or not even close) then it makes sense you'd try to go to a team where you might win immediately or in the next couple years.

That's what I'm thinking. The Rangers have some solid depth players. Why trade your depth for a player that has 4 games of playoff experience.
