Del Zotto, Girardi, Stepan, Boyle, Anisimov, draft picks. They have pretty good depth as their place in the standings reflects. - woopstash
they have some good prospects in the system as well. i hope they don't do it |

From what I have gathered on the Buffalo thread is that his is about 24 yrs old and is relatively new to being a hockey fan. Maybe started when he was about 18. - rmiethaner
Had a feeling this was the case. Thanks. |

I liked Garth's line about the fans supporting the team through thick and thin for the last 41 years regardless of what's on the ice....and don't nobody call them fairweather. Oh, and he went with Hockey Heaven again. - weirdoh
I wince everytime I see that in his blog headline. That needs to be put away for ever. |

Have you seen the number of goals we have scored and the number we have let in.
We are gonna have to sell the farm for Nash when we need a goalie.
I'd rather go for Parise and take my chances he makes it to free agency.
Either way, Leafs have to decide if they want a big name forward or a solution to the real problem. - leafs93
What fun is Parise right now? It's almost the dead line, buck up and listen to everybody's boners about making trades. Parise is a given because Burke once said something about him or something like that. It's all about trading for SUPERSTARS now and adding Parise on July 1st. |

I think CLS will be looking for more than depth in exchange for Nash. |

There's no way Nash goes to the Leafs. They do not have the right assets to get this done.
Brain Burke and Leaf Nation do an excellent job of over-hyping their players. Keep dreaming Leaf fans. |

I agree. At least with the complete and utter poop farm that is Leino, Garth has stopped the Pegulaville poop. |

I'd trade Bryz straight up for most any other starting goalie... |

For what we'll have to give up to get Nash, we'll instantly turn into the Toronto Blue Jackets.

Nash is that good! Put him with Grabo and Mac and he will be 40+ every year! That line would be good for 90+ goals a year! My dream would be Nash and Carter coming to Toronto!!! For that, yes I would empty the cupboards! If the only roster players we lost were Schenn and Kulemin I'd be ALL over it!! - Bullot
So you have a chance to get Nash, and all of a sudden he is a great player? Cant wait til the leafs lose out on him, and then he magically sucks again according to leaf fans a la brad richards. Should be good times. |

What assets does Rangers have to get Nash. Not a chance they will move Callahan, Gaborik, Staal, Lundqvist and Richards. That leaves Dubinsky, Mitchell???? - akGCO47
keep hearing Staal would have to be included |

Why? Nash isn't that good. He's got 18 goals on the season.
Cody (frank)ing Hodgson has 15... yet guys here are saying it starts with Schneider and Hodgson for Nash. I wouldn't trade either of those guys straight up for a guy with a career high 79 pts making $7.8m/season. - Scooby_Doo
Nash has nobody to play with!! When he is on team Canada, he is the man, every time. |
