I'd rather see us get a pure #1 and put the goalie thing to rest once and for all.

We've all seen what kind of team we can be when we get great goaltending.

Let's get Halak.

Wherever he goes, he will disappoint.

RespEKfully disagree. Put Nash with a play-making center like Henrik, Kopitar, or Brad Richards and I think he easily gets 85-90 points a year.

That being said, it's a tough number to fit into any of those teams cap structure.

K, cause i thought it might have been cause he was a young kid or something? Or didnt watch hockey before miller, you know that kind of thing.
- shinebox

From what I have gathered on the Buffalo thread is that his is about 24 yrs old and is relatively new to being a hockey fan. Maybe started when he was about 18.

ever watch the winter olympics fella, put that thoroughbred on a decent squad and he is a game dominating power forward of the first order...
- trainspotter60

He would be unstoppable with Bozak as his center and Kadri on the other wing

Have at it. Empty the prospect pool for an overrated superstar, sounds great.

Ek trade (from today)

Crabb, Rynnas, Armstrong, 2nd

Leaf fan trade

Schenn, Armstrong, Komi and a 2nd

Habs fan

Nothing any team would want

Nash is that good! Put him with Grabo and Mac and he will be 40+ every year! That line would be good for 90+ goals a year! My dream would be Nash and Carter coming to Toronto!!! For that, yes I would empty the cupboards! If the only roster players we lost were Schenn and Kulemin I'd be ALL over it!!

Jeff Carter just got a PP assist. You'll need to throw another 2nd Rd pick into the bidding now.

What assets does Rangers have to get Nash. Not a chance they will move Callahan, Gaborik, Staal, Lundqvist and Richards. That leaves Dubinsky, Mitchell????

I liked Garth's line about the fans supporting the team through thick and thin for the last 41 years regardless of what's on the ice....and don't nobody call them fairweather. Oh, and he went with Hockey Heaven again.

Del Zotto, Girardi, Stepan, Boyle, Anisimov, draft picks. They have pretty good depth as their place in the standings reflects.

Have you seen the number of goals we have scored and the number we have let in.

We are gonna have to sell the farm for Nash when we need a goalie.

I'd rather go for Parise and take my chances he makes it to free agency.

Either way, Leafs have to decide if they want a big name forward or a solution to the real problem.

Miller is by far the best goalie in the league, top 3 of all time for sure. Anybody saying otherwise knows nothing about hockey.

He's already been included in the "done deal" for Nash. Bernier, Penner, Huneter, and a pick. Haven't you heard?
