It was only a matter of time before the Ducks got on the board. Harding was playing great for a while there.

yeah i thought iginla honestly was the underrated part of when they played together. but i still think over the long haul, they would work out to be fantastic. crosby can get the most out of anyone, and while i realize he is overpaid (although a large part of that can be attested to a franchise like that having to overpay to keep stars), i have never thought nash's talent is overrated.

People say that his numbers aren't THAT good. . . . . I don't think they realize who he has had to play with his entire career. He has made Prospal look like a legitimate first line guy.

Nash is fantastic but if he wants to play with Sid he'll have to wait until 2014. We are probably at the very bottom of the list when it comes to acquiring him (not that you didn't already know that).

Look at these centers he has played with...

Brassard
Holzinger
Gratton
Peca
Brule
Vermette
Umberger

I asked a question on the other board to name 3 centers that Nash has played with that isn't named Jeff Carter and one of their better posters came up with those.

I think they are just trying to spread things out more evenly amongst the lines, that or they are trying to showcase Blake coming off his injury.

Yeah. Not only has he not played with any centers he hasn't had a good opposite wing or a d to push the puck up the ice. He had to carry it in, pass it to himself, and score all while coaching the team his entire career.

Okay okay that may be a bit of an exaggeration but you get my point. ha

Edit: Vermette and Umberger are okay but not first line centers. None of their guys seem to pan out.

How do you compile this list and leave the best centerman he ever had off?

28 is my favorite followed by 65 and 92.

28 is a dime. I wouldn't kick her out of my bed for eating crackers that's for sure.

Don't forget Gilbert Brule...6th player picked in the 2005 draft...CBJ rushed him and he never panned out.

Andrew Cassels was another good one, but how does everyone forget this guy?
