Honestly? Only one who comes close to having any value to them would be Reimer. Even then he's not THAT valuable.

Exactly. They need a goalie who can be the definite #1. Bernier, Schneider and Rask are the only ones who could be traded since they're the back-ups in their cities, but could easily be the #1 if it wasn't for Quick, Luongo and Thomas.

Although, I don't see Rask being traded. Thomas can't keep this up too much longer, he's already late 30's isn't he? Rask just has a couple years to wait I think. Bernier and Schneider however, have a LONG LONG time to wait and could get fed up

Because the game is in Calgary, so you need to get a guy on the plane so that if Gunnarson can't go, you have another body.

Plus Aulie is a Western boy. Probably the only reason.

I still really Hope they dont try to sell the farm for Nash. Nash is a great winger but realistically he is supporting cast, his problem in CBL has been that he never got to play with an elite center, which TO doesnt have. Not to mention the contracts we'd have to pray we would move just to make room for Nash.

I say stay the course and hopefully they can pick up JVR and a bit more toughness on our bottom 6.

Their problem is cap room. Their only expendable piece right now they can demote is Wolski, because Columbus would be idiots to take him. Trade wise, even adding dubinsky and Callahan, Gets them around the cap number to add Nash, but honestly, theyre creating bigger holes than the one they're patching up.

Nash has never played alongside an elite- anything. Him with Kessel and Lupul would be a well balanced top line offensively.
