Call up just to be safe. They're on a road trip, if Gunnar can't go, they want an extra guy on the road with them in case another injury occurs.

Gunnar has to miss at least 7 days to be on IR, meaning the whole trip. Might as well have a 7th guy.

Not to mention that I bet Aulie draws in tonight, not Komisarek. It's Calgary and they'll pair Aulie with Dion.

yeah, never thought about warm up injuries, they are rare and flukey but they certainly do happen

Going to guess that Columbus would want Schenn and Komi, or that Burke is not willing to give up Schenn and has offered Kadri, Komi and another piece. He has a verbal yes but Komi doesn't want Columbus.

I really hope they can find a good fit for Komi somewhere. He doesn't fit in with our depth, but the guy shows up every time and tries his guts out. We don't hear in the media about him complaining and he seems like he deserves better. He can be an asset somewhere...just not here.

Right now, Lupul is 8th in the league in assists. Who are we going to trade for that is going to be an improvement on that? Shots on goal aren't a bad thing either...because pucks Can go in the net that way. Theyre essentially passing to, and scoring off of, each other.
