I am getting worn out with all these "grumblings, rumors" and whatever else as far as what if anything this team is going to add. I am tired of reading Poile say stuff like we are looking, we are planning on, we are going to, among other little quips about what the future looks like. How about we start believing these things, when we see them, like Rads actually coming getting on a plane headed for NSH, or Poile actually making a bold move and taking a risk to improve this team, and the team actually increase payroll instead of just talking about it. Talk is cheap and everyone may be getting a little tired of Suter and contract negotiations or lack there of but the fact is he is right. Management has been saying they have a plan and are willing to spend money. But now is the time to show it, and with attendance up, season ticket holders up, the intrest in hockey and the team up they must strike now. Because if this team gets to the playoffs and makes an early exit, and then we have another offseason like last year with guys leaving (Weber/Stuer) and not bringing in 1 FA that is really worth anything of significance, it could be a disaster of epic proportions, and one that could set this franchise back significantly. Here is to hoping the Preds make a bold move, make a run and can confinence Suter and Weber to stay. The ball is in your court Mr. Poile what are you going to do?

You make it seem as if it's easy to go out and grab someone else. The current price for Ruutu is a 1st round pick AND a top prospect.......that's for Ruutu and he's just a rental player. There just aren't enough teams selling at the moment, and the prices for the ones who are is insane and totally not worth it. There are 2 more weeks until the deadline, so hopefully the prices will start to drop soon. Regardless, we all will be hearing plenty of rumors until after Feb. 27.

Since we are Nashville Predators fans we tend to get judged pretty quickly... But hey I'm just a dumb redneck that married my cousin and makes moonshine in my barn.

Complete agree. Due to the current point structure there are a number of teams that are given the illusion of being oh so close to the playoffs, when the reality is even a solid run of 7-3-0 will barely get you any closer. Hence why many aren’t selling if they think there's a chance, and even for those truly out of the playoff picture teams are only interested in the players that they don’t want to give up. Throw in the ridiculous asking prices (two 1st Rd picks for Gleason was what I heard before he signed) and it would seem the best move for a GM in the market is to wait. DP isn’t the only GM looking to make a move or feeling the heat if he doesn’t. But if you think about it, I’d rather my GM do nothing than make a bad deal.

Look on the bright side, KHL regular season ends Feb 26-27, and if Salavat Yulaev bows out in 6 in the 1st round, Rads can join us on the west coast roadie against San Jose, assuming no Visa problems or at the latest against the oilers on March 20th for a homecoming.

Could you imagine the dynamic of the Preds if we added Radulov and Hemsky?

Add $22M in Hemsky, Weber, Suter & Rads. Let SK walk.

If anyone has an Xbox, NHL12 and a Gold Membership, I have an NHL12 league going right now that at the moment has 4 spot still left open. The Teams left are the Dallas Stars, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators and Minnesota Wild. Not the most attractive teams but I'm just trying to fill the whole league up. So far, so good. Someone joined my league as the Winnipeg Jets and has yet to play. I may boot him and give someone else the opportunity because everyone else within the last week has at least played one game.

The latest article does give some more hope. So that's now like 2 positive articles in a row. I'd love for him to come back. And that's a hell of a article.
