Well I can not see us signing Barker for over 2 mill... he will have to sign here for less otherwise I am not sure anyone will pay him another 2 mill for another project... I like Potter and think if he never got hurt he easily passed barker on the depth chart IMO... I could see Peckham being moved with Hemsky... but who knows...

There is more to hockey than scoring goals. While hemsky should be scoring a lot more he is a pass first guy. Smid is a shut down defenceman who will sacrifice in any situation who is just coming into his own. Im glad you're happy with kronwall and I hope when he gets suspended for his jumping ass checks he doesn't change his style of play. Also I find it strange he is one of 2 regulars, and the only dman on Detroit with a minus rating

Those are all good points. I don't think you can complain about kronwall's hits and still argue sutton isn't a goon without being a little hypocritical though.

Also while your points are perfectly valid, if kronwall was traded to the oil he would automatically be their best Dman by a mile. I dont see Det trading him either.

I did hear rumors of Selenne to Det, now that would be scary.
