I love the Pokemon reference and I don't disagree with the content (except Leino contract length :yuck but I'm not happy with the the delivery. So much potential squandered. lol

devils made the playoffs and still got parise..........sure higher picks give a higher chance of getting a better player but not always, and id never hope my team to miss the playoffs just for a better pick

leafs have scratched Komisarek for what at least 5-6 now. Mabie LA wants to dump Penner & is willing to take Komi.

You should check with Oilers fans on this one. They made a magical cup run a few years back, and have had back to back 1st overall picks. I'm pretty sure they'd rather play one playoff round than get yet another lottery pick.
