Good thing Burke doesn't agree with you.......... that is why Burke has dangled him around the league.

If he was as good as you think, Burke would not be trading him........ PERIOD!!

Schenn =

That's like saying Pronger was better than Neidermayer....Suter's the quarterback. Webers the beast.

PS: look up weber's numbers without suter. It's kind've like Phaneuf without Hamrlik in Calgary.

Dont care about Weber's numbers.. Ive watched him enough to see the impact he has on a game.

True, but then again I don't think Weber actually packed on a lot of weight. Schenn did. Which is ridiculous when you realize he was likely at his optimal playing weight last season.

But you get the picture.. he didn't train with Roberts. He spent the summer with Weber. He actually turned down Roberts program when his bro went to go see him.

- Brian Huddle

Weber's older and already filled out. Schenn's not done growing yet. He's probably at his ideal weight now (for once he's done growing) but he distribution is off.

Burke can dangle him all he wants, and I am sure he has. The thing is we have no idea what value he puts on him. Based on the returns for Kaberle, Lebda, Beauch. he wants a lot for his players. That why GM's are saying the price for a top player is high and no moves so far

He's 6'2, and was 220(ish) last year. To me that's his ideal playing weight.

He's like 235 or something right now which is around where Komisarek (6'4) was prior to this year. Komisarek specifically went out and lost weight to play a more mobile game.

Schenn never worked out with Gary Roberts.

He works out in the off season with Shea Weber. Schenn shouldn't have put that weight on because he was an average skater to begin with. Weber can handle weight gain to get stronger because he's a strong skater.

Brayden Schenn did. Not Luke.

Luke spent his summer in Kelowna. He might have a few tips on dieting or something, but he didn't go through Roberts regime this past summer.

nice, from the article written after a promo event he and Roberts, and Brayden, were all at, and they chatted.

He is not, and has not been, a client of Roberts.

By this same token, Price must suck. Since he's been shopped to pretty much every team in the NHL, with no takers.

If he is required to land a quality piece in return, he will be gone. After nearly 4 seasons in the league, I think we have a good idea of whether or not the potential to be "much more" is there. He might tighten up his game a bit, but I think he is going to end up maxxing pretty much where he is now.
- GoneFullRetard

yes, I agree..... Schenn has maxed out. This is as good as he is going to be.

not really, I'm just not ignorant enough to suggest he's reached his peak developement at age 22, since that would make him possibly the first player in history to do so.

All I'm taking issue with is the continuous stream of bullpoop you keep putting up on the screen.

If you misinterpret that as me saying Schenn is better than Steven's, well then I can't help you.
