A few years back I was watching my share of oilers games for poops and giggles....during one stretch, I thought for sure Penner was taking the next step. He reminded me alot of Lindros that season. Don't know why consistency is such an issue for him.

See this is where i think your point about grabo as a centre is real good. Grabo is great in the offensive zone, in the neutral zone, and being the first man back. He's horrible once the opposition has the puck in our zone not to be confused with leading the breakout out of our zone. He looks like a chicken sometimes not knowing who he should be covering. Hes not alone as in most cases someone else has also lost their man. Having Connolly at centre might actually take the pressure off.
