But if the rumors are true that they need to move his salary to take on more (Carter, ect) then they can't. If they are looking to just dump him they they very may well take some salary back.

Leafs looked like a Men's League team on Saturday - absolutely no organized game plan could be identified at any time with exception of the last 2 power plays.

Winnipeg game was similar, as was 1st period against Flyers.

I'm not a fan of firing a coach mid-season anyways. Before the all star break sure, but at this point it does nothing but set the team back, new systems to learn and utter chaos all round.

Agreed..... basically 3 games of utter crap. They were shut down, they had their bread and butter taken away and they had no clue how to counter it. How do you go 3 games getting the same treatment from the opposition and not make an adjustment?

but it's ok burn...wilson is a horrible coach....it's all his fault the 2nd youngest team in the leauge he coaches is inconsistent and battling for 8th in the conference....not like that's exactly where they should be or anything.

And for the record I'm not on the fire Wilson train. There has been a ton of progess with a lot of the young players and a lot of that can be directly attributed to Wilson and his approach to "teaching the game"

However, there are many situations were he clearly is just being outcoached in the game. Philly was one, Winnepeg another.
Montreal game it seemed the Team had no idea what to do against another team with speed.

Coaches job to alter gameplan when the one you have isn't working. Wilson doesn't do that.

When they win they win with speed. When they lose, it's usually because they are outcoached (or they all poop the bed like on Saturday)
