I swear I was just about to write this. That's pretty good considering they like to gift wrap secondary assists sometimes. I like PA and what he does for this team. Hopefully they can get an extension done. - BringBackBalky
I hope they extend him too. Nobody is going to pay anything good for him in a trade. Just like Frans was, his value to the team is far greater than his price on the trade market. |

Do the isles ever make adjustments in game? They looked incredibly tired as well which is strange because Florida looked fresh and played yesterday as well. Todays effort and or lack of coaching adaptability was amateurish . |

The seasons change quicker than the Isles. The Isles are better off without a coach. What coach in his right mind would stick with lines that do not work like Jack? The Isles were too beat up and soft against the Kings to show up today. |

We do much better with the youth up front..Rolston is useless. The Bailey line was a non factor since Rolston came back. We need to keep the kids up front but need more experience on the backend. I'm not referring to any of the current injured d-men on the team |

As optimistic as I am. Season is over. 2 games vs tor, game vs habs and now lame loss against Florida. These are the games we need to win to get a playoff spot. As great as win vs la was its irrelevant if u blow the most win games.
For yesterday's loss I blame capuano. As great as nabby has been. You play him 3 games in 4 nights. Nabby has lost every 2nd game in a back to back this season. Montoya should have gotten the start. 3 of 4 goals Florida scored were soft.
Cappy's stupidity has cost us at least 10-14 points in the standings. Why bring rolston back. He is picking up where he left off. Dragging his line down and eating other players minutes.
Btw. Josh bailey has been our 2nd best foward after Tavares. But unfortunately his line is handicapped with rolston on it. |

I wouldn't trade anyone until the last minute, if at all. Drive the price up. It doesn't seem that its a seller's market right now. Let a team with a real chance at contending step up and make a real offer for Nabokov, not some BS 3rd or 4th round pick. Besides, waiting until the last minute to move anyone allows for the team to maybe extend PAP or Nabokov if that is even a consideration right now on either guy. |

You couldn't start anybody but Nabokov against Florida. He's going real well and the team needs wins, whether people on this board want to believe they have a shot at the playoffs or not. The coach isn't going to coach the team with the mindset that "hey, its over. We won't make the playoffs". He's got to win games and Nabokov, right now and certainly against Florida, gave the team the best chance to win.
Now, come Tuesday I'd start Montoya. Give Nabby a rest and sit him after he got pulled in the 3rd. |

He's a streaky, soft player. It's gonna happen..every team has one or two. I'm way more concerned about the giant leap Mac has taken in the wrong direction. Most people looked at him as a big part of our defensive core going forward, all season he has been absolutely terrible. - eichiefs9

You mean the same Josh Bailey who has a WHOLE 3 pts in his last 19 games? Rock on! And while you can blame Rolston all you want, Bailey has also been playing on the PP as of late and has still done squat. Matt Martin, who is not known for is offense has 5 points in that time frame. Oh and last time I checked they played on the same line.
Edit: Mark Eaton has the same amount of points as Bailey in that time frame. I think you can see where I'm going with this. |

no... the fact that Nino who played inspired and well.. was not moved up to second line instead of 5 million dollar Donut tell you never will they do any adjustment in the game. Joke.
Bailey is playing very very well. His points will come. |

Was at the game yesterday and I knew they were going to lose as soon as the puck was dropped. They looked dead. Id o not blame Nabby though as he did make some great saves but if your team is not even going to try then you get a loss. The last few games the first line has gone hibernating and the rest of the team is just not that good. They are only scoring 1 maybe 2 goals a game and they have been lucky. Rolston looks bad Bailey should not even sniff the ice anymore and Amac should not even be close to being on the power play. He should be on the third pair as he just does not look good at all. I will have to say it was a snoozer yesterday and again a chance to do damage in teh standings and this team gets cold feet. Just seems like they are to nervous or stressed when they hear playoffs. |

Sorry disagree. He looked pretty bad yesterday he had one shot and that was all for him. He tries to hard passes up shots and when he tries to pass usually no one is there. He needs a lot of work. |

Just stop with the Bailey hatred. It is just stupid. Rolston misses the net everytime he gets the puck. If you have not seen it Bailey is on the PK and those 3 points were all short handed goals.. just saying. |

You mean the one where he crashed the net and hit the post on his backhand.. yeah he was terrible. so terrible that he was not on the ice for any of the other teams goals. Despite playing almost 15 minutes. The Bailey nonsense on this board is just retarded. The defense is horrible... the 4th line is an abomination.. but lets blame the only guy who is backchecking and not giving up the puck to the other team like it is his job (PA). |

It's not hatred for Bailey. I don't know the guy. This isn't about Rolston. As I said, Matt Martin who doesn't have the offensive ability as Josh Bailey has more points in that same time frame. And your point about Bailey on the PK makes it worse. Your basically saying if he wasn't on the PK then he'd have ZERO points. Thanks |

i dont hate Josh Bailey..but he has plenty of chances to become the second line center...he is good in his own end but we need more production and his unwillingness to shoot the puck is mind numbing |
