Not only is that too steep a price for an aging Nabokov, but I wouldn't take him anyway. There's a reason he didn't win in the playoffs for San Jose. He's not a winner in my eyes, I said it before those playoff disappointments happened for the Sharks and he proved me right.

i agree it's to steep a price...but it's what snow is demanding (imo), otherwise he would've been traded to another team by now.

in terms of a goalie being able to take us deep into the playoffs....i'd rather roll the dice and give reimer that opportunity before i take it in another direction. when he's on...he's close to unbeatable. very sound technical goalie, with no movement. i just think he needs some more games under his belt and he'll be fine.

it doesn't matter what he wants. the nyi have gotten themselves back into the playoff hunt and have been significantly better of late - all on nabokov's play....that in and of itself is enough to jack up the price.

imo - he'll cost you a 1st or 2nd + one of kadri, kuli, mac, or grabo.

cammy has had a tough couple seasons....no denying that, but he's far and above more talented than bourque. in the long run, it won't even be close.

i'd still take gus/reims of the goalies that are actually available there at a reasonable price.....

sure...i'll take tim thomas...but in reality he's not available...and if he was, he'd cost a poopload more than what you'd like to believe.
