Then you need to be mad at Simmonds. Kimmo had no chance at that, and had to take the penalty to avoid an almost certain goal. Simmonds put him in a no-win spot with a horrible pass.

Rinaldo hit was clean, ref obvi gonna call something but we need to see more flyers putting ppl on their backs. ie.) schenn v. Boston, Rinaldo once or twice a game.

Not really sure how you can be mad at this game. I'll take the positives out of it. The effort is there. The quicker you realize this aint a Cup year the better. There will be turnover on the roster shortly, we have some good young pieces. I give Schenn hell here at times but the kid has a knack for the net in the offensive zone. Always in good spots.

I agree with you 100%. I can sympathize with people's frustration, team hasn't won in forever, and quite frankly patience is wearing thin with some folks. It's their right, no sense in telling them how to feel. And I'm not saying you are, I just mean in general.

to be honest i think we got spoiled with these rookies and team over achieved alittle bit... just add a depth dman and try to go for it next year i thought this year would be 6th 7th seed to be honest

He's a good dude. Someone who has been around as long as you have should be able to recognize that. I get being frustrated, but too many on here are too far over the top too often. It gets old fast.

Well, the boys better rest up and enjoy the next 4 days off. They won't have more than 3 days off between games starting Thursday and ending with their final playoff game, whenever that is.

Bouncing puck. It happens. I wish he'd kept it it too, but he played a very strong game tonight. Hard to pin much of this loss on him, imo.

Just not sure why your backing the truck up over Simmer, its one mistake that he made, his game is not making touch passes like that, and hes arguably been the best flyer over the past 10 games. I don't have a problem with what he said, I dont agree with it.

I'm not backing anything over Simmer. I said he played a strong game. Go back and look. I was pointing out to another poster that was ripping Timonen for not keeping it in the zone that the pass from Simmonds was the real issue on that play. That's all. Simmonds played a great game, that play aside. And you're right, he has been playing very well lately.

Spot on IMHO. FLyers have had basically 1/3 of the team in every single game this year as rooks...and are still in 4th lace.

Just think how many other teams would kill for this combination of youth and skill.

I really wish the collective here could understand that this team is far better than most gave credit for at the beginning of the year (except Matthew Barnaby...and we see where he ended up).

We'll have many days and years ahead to forget about all of these PK gaffs and tic-tac-toe touch ins.
