Of course guys like that stop those shots. The thing is Bobrovsky isn't in the same stratosphere as those guys right now. He's still a kid.

He's a (frank)ing NHL goalie. Dont make excuses for him. If he can't make a save on a puck that hits him just to the left of his emblem then he shouldn't be playing in the league. It's time to grow up, stop feeling sorry for yourself, and take it by the balls. Make a save for this team.

They do. It's just that his game is where his lunch is right now. In the potty.

Well if someone would have said the Wings would have 4 PP to the Flyers 1, I might have guessed the score would be about 5-1 right now, at least they are in the game through two periods in an impossible place to play. They deserve credit for that at least.

It was a bad goal, what do you want me to tell you? They are still in a position to come out with points.

Awful lot of emotional conjecture in there.

I agree completely, which is why I'm pissed off. He has come up small today. He's down way too early lately and he's flopping more then the flopping fish. The first goal he was screened, but it's because he was down. He's got to be up looking around the screen. Then the third goal was just bad. Skip is right, win and lose as a team, but dude you are a pro and youve played nearly 80 games in the league. Goals like that in such an important game can't happen.

As much I love Bob, I have to say I agree with this. He's disappointed me lately too.

Defensive breakdowns aside, they have shown a LOT of energy and and had some nice shifts in Detroit's end. Jagr had about 3 golden chances and just couldn't bury it. Those will start going in soon. Thrid period would be a nice start

When I saw Lidstrom get into that position I knew the puck would end up in the net.

Okay, Coburn was doing so good there. He was right with Franzen and then he let him go.

and that's why giving up that late goal was so crucial. instead of a 4-2 lead we're now looking at a 4-3 deficit a minute into the 3rd.

This team just gives up way too many goals. Goals by the bushel.
